Question about HP DeskJet 842c InkJet Printer
How can I clear the memory of this HP 842C inkjet. If printer paper jams or runs out of paper and you fix and turn back on the printer starts printing a few garbage symbols on each page. Even if I deleted job it does not work as it seems some of job is stuck in printer memory. Turning printer off then back on does not seem to work to clear memory. If we don't watch it the printer will print 30 pages of garbage when the document was only 2 pages long.
I know this sounds grade school but, thanks for your help anyway.
The continuous printing issue can be fixed following this link
Regarding Gibberish printing or say garbage printing, If the above utility does not fix this issue, probably the printer drivers are corrupted, and you may have to uninstall the printer software from your pc and download and reinstall the latest drivers. this link below will let you choose the operating system of your PC and download the drivers
