Question about Canon CLC 1150 Color Copier
I own 2 Cannon 1150 printers. A few days ago I needed to refill my cyan toner. After filling I received the E008 error. I went into engineer mode and cleared the error. When the machine warmed up the error returned and despite several more attempts, it still comes back. I have swapped the complete fuser oil assembly units between the 2 printers and the error remains with the machine and not the fuser assembly. Please can you advise me where the problem is
The problem is somewheare in fixing pcbs.
• The fixing oil pump driver PCB is
• The DC driver PCB is faulty.
• The CPU PCB is faulty.
Try to reconnect all connectors on these pcbs.Or start to swap them from one to another copier, until you discover the cause.

Tips for a great answer:

Error code E 020 0181 means that the patch sensor has turned bad or is dirty, to access this try removing eac dev unit and gently unscrew each top so that the patch sensor window is visible. Also, check whether the toner hopper is overfull, it happens sometimes that the toner motor worm gear splits as a result of the hopper becoming packed tight. This may cause the worm gear to split and break if the hopper is 1/2 full or less. You may need to replace toner motor, part number (FH7-1762-030). If the toner motor is fine, then check whether the web solenoid is activating. Clean the web solenoid and ensure free action. This would clear error E020. If the error still not disappears then make sure that the DC controller is fine and the connections from the controller are fine.
Hope this helps...
