Outlook connector can not access to my emails through outlook connector. it says...the password is wrong though i know i am typing the right password

Hi,

Try updating to the latst vesion of the outlook connector.

Try removing the connector account in Outlook, rebooting Outlook and then adding it again. That should hopefully let the connector sync again.

What version of the connector do you have installed? You can check by clicking the Outlook Connector menu and selecting "About Outlook Connector".

The connector should automatically sign you in. When you are prompted to sign in, are you asked for your credentials?

The outlook connector is for english only check with your version.

Will not accept my email address

Which email Account used and which types of error given. Please Share you information. But If you are ask outlook or free email account like hotmail, gmail, or facebook..etc. then mostly password wrong type then your email account not login. So first right email id or password given. I can't log into my email even though I just changed the password and was working on it.


Go to Yahoo.com and select email. If you know your yahoo ID - type it in. but ther eis a link below the login box that says "I can't access my account". Click on it and you can select the option that aplies - probably password. they will email you at the backup email they have on file. This email lets you reset (I Know you just did it..) your password. Perhaps it did not get in right or caps lock was on. Best to just re-reset it.

In the Your Name box, type your full name the way you want it to appear to other people.

Under Server Information, do the following:

In the Incoming mail server (POP3) box, type mail.yourcompany.com
In the Outgoing mail server (SMTP) box, type smtp.yourcompany.com.

Under Logon Information, do the following:

In the User Name box, type your user name provided by your company.

In the Password box, type your password.
Select the Remember password check box

To verify that your account is working, click Test Account Settings.
If there is missing or incorrect information, such as your password, you will be prompted to supply or correct it.

Microsoft Web Access won't send mail


If you are trying to send or receive an email in Microsoft Outlook and the password doesn't work, you can check a number of different things. Microsoft Outlook validates your email account with your email provider using various settings. Once it has validated your settings, it will send or receive email. It is not only useful to set up your email correctly but essential if you wish to use Microsoft Outlook.

Gather all of the email settings for your email account. These will be located on your email provider's website in an FAQ or support section. If in doubt contact your email provider to provide all of the settings. Look for any of the following terms: POP, SMTP, IMAP, SSL, SPA, server, and port number. Make a note of all of these. Determine when the problem exists. Check if the problem occurs when sending an email, receiving an email, or both. If the password error only happens with either sending or receiving, this narrows down the source of the problem. Click "Start," type "Outlook" and press "Enter" to open Microsoft Outlook. Click "File > Info > Account Settings." Select your email account and click "Change." Click the "Incoming mail server" field, if your error was when receiving email but not sending. Enter the full "incoming mail server" address as provided by your email provider. If your email is "IMAP" then change the "Account Type" to display "IMAP." Click "More Settings > Advanced." Make sure that the incoming server "Port" number is the same as your email provider stipulates. If your provider requires SSL, then click "This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL)." Click "OK." Click the "Outgoing mail server" field, if your error was when sending email. Enter the full outgoing server address. Click "More Settings > Advanced." Make sure the "Outgoing server" port is correctly set. If your email provider requires encryption, then select the correct type from the drop-down menu. Click "OK." Click the "password" field and make sure you have entered the correct password. If your mail provider requires "SPA," then click the "Require logon using Secure Password Authentication (SPA)" to enable it. Click "Next" and then "Finish." Your password should now work. Cant recieve emails


Who is your email provided by? AT&T? Yahoo? Hotmail? Gmail?

You need to go to www.google.com and in the search box type your provider and search for the settings that should go with outlook express. For example if my email is provided through Yahoo. I would type in the search box "yahoo mail and outlook express". You will see how to configure the PoP3 and SMTP for sending and receiving mail through outlook.

Before doing all that it just seems like your problem might be that you have the wrong password in the outlook setup for PoP3. Edit your settings in Outlook and make sure you have the correct password. I think you click tools or edit when you have outlook open to get to the email accounts and edit the settings. Do this first and you can test it to see if it is working.

How to configure microsoft outlook 2007 for rediffmail

Follow the steps below to Setup Rediffmail in Outlook 2007

Open Outlook 2007
From the Tools menu - choose Accounts Settings.
From the Window under Email - Click the NEW button
Choose first option ( Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP or HTTP and clik Next
Type your name in Name field
Type your rediff email address ( complete email id with @rediffmail.com ) and password and click Next button

The POP3 is pop.rediffmail.com and Outgoing mail (SMTP) type smtp.rediffmail.com
Click Next. In the Account Name box, type your Rediffmail address In the Password box, type your Rediffmail Password.
If you want Outlook Express to remember your password, check the Remember password box.
Do not check the boxes labelled Log on using Secure... Click Next. Click Finish.

To Receive Emails - Press the Send/Receive button on top

I set up a hotmail account and am trying to link it to my Outlook XP Professional application. When I hit send/receive, I get error 0x800CCC33 - Access to account denied; verify that your username &...


I did find out that it is linked to the profile. I haven't deleted my profile yet because I haven't backed it up. However, other users on the same computer can send just fine. If you can, delete your windows profile and try it again. A re-install does not solve the problem because there is still profile information that isn't deleted when Outlook 2007 is uninstalled. Let me know if this helps and I am going to see if there is another solution so I don't have to delete my profile.

(Outlook Express) Email is not configured to relay mail to address
Try this settings:

Outlook Express
  1. Click Tools then Accounts
  2. Click Mail
  3. Click Properties
  4. Click Servers
  5. In the Account Name field, it should be the first part of your email address (probably it's like this already).
  6. Put a checkmark by My Server Requires Authentication at the bottom of the page.
  7. Click Settings
  8. Select Log on Using
    • Type Account Name (which will be your full email address)
    • Type Password (which will be your email address password)
  9. Click Apply
  10. Click OK
  11. Click Close
This should fix the Outlook Express to send email, close Outlook Express and re-open it to start sending mail.

Microsoft Outlook
  1. Click Tools then Email Accounts (Accounts and Services on older versions of Outlook)
  2. Click View and Change and Click Next (skip if it opens up to the account screen)
  3. Click Change or Properties of your Email Account
  4. Click More Settings
  5. Click Outgoing Server
  6. Check My Server Uses Authentication
  7. Select Log on Using
    • Type Account Name (which will be your full email address)
    • Type Password (which will be your email address password)
  8. Click OK
  9. Click Next
  10. Click Finish

This should fix the Outlook to send email. Close Outlook and re-open it to start sending mail.

I checked to see , ans I notived thar Stbeins yahho account Stebbins_ira (with email stebbins_ira@yahho.com) as the password "council". I don't know if this is because she changed it or (which I think happened ) never was changed.

What I also noticed in relation to your Yahoo account wbb_scaepa (with the email wbb_scaepa@yahoo.com) was that the password "inuyupi" is set, but the data on your ID account was of Stebbins Ira (greeting name, name, adress, ***, age, etc), not yours. Therefore, anyone accessing your account would think it was accessing Stebbins' account. That is fixed.

Now, I urge you both Jerome and Stebbins to CHANGE IMMEDIATELY YOUR PASSWORDS, since at this moment everybody knows them, and can access your account, view or send emails in your name or even get hold of your accounts by changing the passwords.
So, do it now.

After changing the password, Sebbins might have also to change the password for the email account in Outlook, Outlook Express, Windows Mail or any other e-mail program she is using to access her email from her office.

If she is using Outlook Express or Windows Mial, for instance, she would have to open the email program, go to Tools/Accounts..., then Select the Yahoo account (stebbins_ira@yahho.com), click on Properties, tehn on Servers tab and change the password to the new password.
Then, she will be able to access the e-mail both through Yahoo pages (webmail) and through her office's email program.

So, once again, change immeddiately your password.

There are only a several paramaters to get right for email communications with outlook email and other email clients of the same type like eudora.

Regarding being prompted for your name and password when outlook checks mail.

#1 Your Username is most often your full email address myname@mydomain.com
but just the same outlook usualy puts as default your mailbox name only ie myname

#2 The password may be wrong.

#3 Generaly I have found that oulook and others like eudora are prone to showing you a setting in the setup dialog windows that is not 'taking' - My solution is to remove the email setting for that account and put in a fresh one, same information but then often it works! (same with eudora)
