Check your driver. It is listed on your printer properties screen. Make sure the driver is not the PCL6 driver. This is the only driver that is Black and White only print. This is about the only cause of a color printer that only prints in B&W. If it is PCL6 just dowload and onstall the PCL5C driver.

Try unluging the printer and plug it back in do the same with the eathernet cable. The make shure you have the right ip adress inputed into each computer for the port the computer uses to print to that printer this my cause you printer to not print.

Driver could be corrupt. Disconnect the printer or at least be sure it is turned off.
I'd do both and reinstall the CD software program that came with
the printer. When the software program asks you to connect the
printer to the USB port, do so and it should again work properly.

Try this test: Let's say you want to print this present page (of fixya.com from Firefox or another web-browser), try File/Print and see if you have the tab Advanced to change to the color cartridge.
Go here. In the search box in the center of the screen, type "print with black ink only" and click Search. Choose the appropriate link, and you will get instructions for printing from either Windows or Mac.
