What kind of printer is it? How did it hook up to the old one physically? Was it a usb cable or an ethernet cable like the computer?

I just moved apartments, reset up my printer/computer, now computer is not acknowledging the printer. When I try to print it will say "connecting, 78% completed) and then nothing actually comes out.

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR PRINTER SET ON DEFAULT AND THAT IT IS INSTALLED PROPERLY! OR YOU CAN ALSO TRY...UNHOOKING YOUR PRINTER, SHUT DOWN YOUR COMPUTER AND HOOK YOUR PRINTER BACK UP BEFORE RESTARTING TO LET YOUR COMPUTER INSTALL YOUR PRINTER.

IF YOUR COMPUTER DOESN'T RECOGINIZE NEW HARDWARE, SUCH AS YOUR PRINTER, THAN IT IS NOT SET AS YOUR DEFAULT PRINTER!

YOUR SOFTWARE MAY NEED TO BE CORRECTLY INSTALLED, MAKE SURE YOUR PRINTER IS NOT HOOKED UP WHEN INSTALLING SOFTWARE.

SOFTWARE HAS BE INSTALLED FIRST, AND RECOGNIZED...THEN RESTART COMPUTER WITH PRINTER (HARDWARE) HOOKED UP!

How do I hook up two computers to one x3650

If the printer is a USB connection you can buy a USB switch that will be hooked up to both computers. The only issue is that you will have to switch on/off which computer you are printing from. Another way is to setup a local network and have the printer on one of the computers. This way the printer will be shared on the network by all computers. Hope this is a start in solving your problem.

Computers not recognizing printer

Check the router or whatever hardware you use to connect the 4 computers to the printer. I use a USB Share Switch for 2 computers and 2 printers. Switch can be found at Amazon.com and other vendors.

I need to hook my printer back to my computer i lost the disk

Go to Brothers web site and look for downloads or drivers. Download the drivers for your model and install them. Also if it has any software/manuals that the model uses you should find it there as well. I you already have software installed I would uninstall and reinstall the software you download.

Is there an adapter to hook up two computers to one HP printer

You can buy an A/B switch (mechanical), share the printer on your network (if you have a network) or buy a print server (also requires a network).

I keep getting print spool message about my printer, I just hooked up a new Qwest modem with wireless

I found that you need the newest driver from the HP site and you may need to load it again and have it look for your printer IP address automatically, Mine was a pain at first and every time I have replaced my switch ot network router I have had to "rediscover" the printer as the network seems to ignore it...
