Dell 2400MP Projector password Reset. A colleague has eneterd and now forgotten the password does anyone know how to remove it?

You would need to send the projector back to Dell for service with replacing any parts other than the bulb.

The Dell 2400MP Projector is rated for 1-2 to 12 meters, or 3.9 feet to 39 feet.
However, the farther the distance to the screen, the dimmer the image will be.

It leads to a little flash tool that allows you to use sliders to adjust throwing distance and then tells you how much light you can expect the wall. It also gives you a ton of other useful information about the projector.

Your lamp has failed
Make sure you have the manual..If not , go to Dell website and download one
Then check the web for YOUR lamp model before going to Dell for it
Many places are a rip-off when it comes to lamps

What model TV or Projector do you have. Most TVs and Projectors have the reset procedure from the remote.

ballast is bad and needs to be replaced.

make sure that the resolution matches and that the laptop and the projector are both on vga and not composite. you can also reset the projector settings to factory default to start from the beginning.

Try Pressing FN + F2/ If it does not work try with different VGA cable
