My LG room air conditioner has an error message "C2". Please advise what this means and what to do.

According to the owner's manual C2 indicates "an open circuit in the indoor pipe thermostat. Unplug the unit and contact your authorized LG Service Center." To locate the closest Service Center to you, go to the following link.

If however, you confused C2 with an F2. "F2" indicates the fan speed setting and the unit is working as it should.

I hope this helped you and thanks for choosing FixYa.

Need fan blade-to-motor bracket as mine has broken and can't seem to repair!!!

Most home centers that sell ceiling fans carry replacement Fab Blade Irons (that's what you're looking for).Try Lowe's or Home Depot.

Electrically it is fine. The main blower is running, but the fan outside is not. I hear a humming, however. Obviously, the house is hot and nothing is frozen up.

You either need a new capacitor and or a fan. If you
cannot hear the compressor run and it is not tripping
any breakers you may need to install a hard start
capacitor kit

My fujitsu a/c unit is not cooling anymore (or much less than in the past). The filters are clean but one of the conduction to the outdoor unit is frozen. do i have to clean the outdoor unit ?

If the small pipe is frozen then the unit is short of refrigerant and has a leak. If the large pipe is frozen it has an indoor fan issue. It does not need cleaning just a service.

Blowing hot air fan not turning outside making a humming noise

Replace the run capacitor. It is a silver cylindrical object located in the electical compartment of you outside unit. There is most likely three places on the top where different color wires are attached. One is marked F,or Fan. The center should be marked C, or Common, and the last should be marked Herm, with wiring to the compressor. Make sure you write down or label each wire you remove and it's correct location. They must be installed on the new part just like they were on the defective part. For you to know which dual run capacitor you need, the old one will have printed on the side either 370, or 440 v,as in volts. You must also need to know the microfarad rating and it is also printed on the side with the voltage rating. Since this is most likely a dual(runs fan and compressor) you should see two ratings abbreviated as mfd. Something like a 5mfd for the fan motor and perhaps a 35 mfd for the compressor. CAUTION !!! This device has line voltage and you must insure the power is off at the disconnect/ breaker BEFORE you begin the repair. Sounds complicated but really only takes a few minutes. The main thing is getting the right mfd and voltage ratings for the new part and keeping a record of where the wires were mounted on the old one, and putting them back the same place on the new part.

AC Fan doesn't blow cold air, frozen coil noticed outside, resetting power resolves temporarily

You need to call a reputable service technician.  The freezing up usually is associated with a low refrigerant charge or low air flow.  Check your return air filter and replace as needed.

RUUD model URGG-10E31JKR GASS PACK purge fan and main blower

if the purge fan wont start on its own see if there is a capactor attached. if not replace it. more than likely you cannot lube the bearings in your blower motor. the new fans are not serviceable.

Error code

be certain you have it plugged directly into a ac socket , no surge protector or gfic protector.
the main fan should have come on first then the compressor.
if not the fan capacitor or the fan is stuck.
try reseting it by
for resetting the error code. Unplug unit, clean filter, HOLD DOWN power button and CONTINUE HOLDING while plugging unit back in. Unit will beep. Unplug again, plug back in and resume normal operation
