How hard was the tube to change? i am going through the same thing right now.
Well, if you feel comfortible opening up the computer and replace parts for yourself, it shouldn't be too bad.
I remember it was time comsumming for me on adjusting/fine tuning/saving.
Just make sure the "steps to remove" since you need the "stemps to restore" back.
btw, you will need to get the Technical Manual...
