Here is the link to your motherboard drivers.

http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?SLanguage=en-us

click on the link, than click on the plus side of the audio option.
it may take a min to load. than find weather you are using windows vista or xp and download the driver.
to do that you will need to click on the GLOBAL disk (blue) link NOT the china disk. (pink) link. this link also contains any other drivers you may need for your motherboard. i would make a back-up disk with these drivers on it so you do not have to track them down again.....
Please do not forget to rate and comment on your experiance today... Thank you.

There's no sound or audio in my desktop that problem start when the time i need to reformat my desktop computer

Your computer problem is caused by a missing sound driver. You have to reinstall your computer drivers by it's driver installation cd. if you don't have it or your computer or soundcard driver installation disk is missing. then do this.

Try to find out your motherboard or soundcard manufacturer. You can download the driver that your motherboards or soundcard needs . But if it is too expensive there, try to use driver magician , after installing, driver magician will automatically detect your computers missing or outdated drivers. All you have to do is to Click the all detected driver that driver magician has detected from your motherboard, it will automatically search the internet and download the driver that you have selected. Press save, then install. There you have it. Have a nice day.

How can i reformat my packard bell laptop without the recovery cd?

The recovery cd is just a Pre-Built Windows version that includes the drivers you need for your computer.
If you want to format your pc and lack the original recovery cd, you just need to get a Windows (or other operating system you want) installation CD/DVD, put it on your optical drive and reboot your computer.
On installation, you will be asked what you want to do: Fix or Install. Choose install and check to format your disk.
After installation, if something doesn't work, its because you don't have the needed drivers, so go to Dell's Support Page find your computer, download and install the drivers you are lacking (video card graphics, sound, etc.)
Hope it was helpful ;)

How to reformat laptop

  • 1

If you have the recovery cd, you can just pop-in the CD, select the reformat option and the installation process will continue automatically. Some laptop might have a special partition in the drive contains the operating system, drivers, etc. in case you want to reformat your laptop without the CD.

If you don't have the recovery CD, you usually can request one from the manufacturer. Otherwise, if you want to do a clean install, make sure you download all the drivers for your laptop, this may includes: motherboard, chipset, graphic card, sound card, modem, network card. Once you do that, put in the OS CD and start installing.

If you decided to do a clean install without the recovery CD, it would be best to create partition on your harddrive first, so you can have dedicated partition for operating system and backup. The next time you want to reformat your harddrive, you can just reformat that particular partition ex. C:\

No audio driver installed after reformatting my PC

Direct sound is actually referring to Direct X drivers. Do a search for Direct X drivers and download and install the correct ones for your sound card and operating system. Also, if you think your sound card drivers maybe part of the problem go to the Sound Card manufacturer website and download the drivers for your sound card and operating system.

I have no audio after reformatting,....how can i

did you re-install the mainboard drivers after the reformat of your hard drive?? you should have a disk of drivers for your mainboard but if not, go to the LG website as you can download and install them from here through the support portal. you may need to install a cd audio driver as well but usually not.. Install the mainboard drivers first as this should cure this issue and yes, the PC will reboot at least twice during this procedure and this is nothing to worry about..

you have to download the sound drivers and install the software..can't give you the exact driver as haven't specified much about your PC.
still try to download one of the common driver like realtek- Ac97... from the following URL ..
    http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=14&PFid=23&Level=4&Conn=3&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false

or try to download other audio drivers and install it...your problem would be fixed.

hope to get rated as fixed...
