This is the driver for windows xp if you are running another
operating system just select it in os.

Select audio and select global and download the driver.
The driver needs to be unziped before installation.
Right click and choose unzip here.

Just click on the exe file and download.

Click hear to download the driver, while click the link the new web windows will open, select your Operating system (Win ME, Win XP etc) then you get the your driver. download you driver and install.

I would strongly recommend you to re-install the sound driver. If you don't have or if you don't know the correct driver, you can download it from HERE. The selected drivers are for windows xp, you may need to reselect the Operating System (O.S) from the O.S: box on the page. If the installed O.S on your computer is Windows xp, click the "Audio" link and download from the download links (will be displayed once you click the "Audio"). Download and install, it should work if there's no other issue with your sound card or etc..

I am sorry but you will get untold problems as this notebook was designed for newer OS than XP.
XP doen't contain the required drivers and won't work properly.

Re install the OS that was supplied and then download the drivers from Asus.com

Hi. As I've looked at Asus support website, where you could see the drivers for your pc, it says itt does not support XP OS on your model. Only F7E and F7L are supported. So basically, you won't find any for your pc to run drivers for XP. Check this:

I don't know how to do to help you, - 2 solutions:

1. go here and specify if you pc is a F3Sc - F3Se - F3Sv and download the drivers. ( don't use driver detect, that will cost you....)

2. Reinstall, to WinXP, with that you get a computer leaving the table, with the speed you get on XP, but that's up to you. XP Drivers here:

- again, choos your model, and then your OS ie WinXP, - they are all there, - go on you asus.

Personally, I would not hesitate to install XP, but don't mind me, I have been working (full time as an adminisrator) with Server2003 and WinXP for years.

vista is the os with my laptop, but I nneed to be in WinXP
i have install winxp in mine today, go to your bios, ide configuration, advanced, sata operation mode: COMPATIBLE. and you'll be ok , if your winXP has sata driver on the cd....let me know if you'have prob.
