Take it back to the store, I am almost positive that it shouldn't be able to switch between the two languages. Most likely it was a mess up and a Spanish version got sent to where you bought it.
The fax machine should automatically come in English.

Just uninstall the drivers and reinstall it.When you reinstall it you will have an option to choose the language just select English.

This links gives a customer support for the cannon through phone. Else you can reinstall the drivers and the application and make it a point to choose english in the language option in the start itself.
