Question about Sanyo Televison & Video
My sanyo ds19130 television was passed on to me by a person a who
smoked alot and it was exposed to nicotine build up. the surface was cleaned but i think the wires inside of the t.v. are still corroded. the screen takes a while to warm up but before its warmed up it is only half size and hase black lines all across it execpt for at the bottom below them where it is noticebly brighter and everything displayed there is small and upside down. it is solved after a good 20-30 minutes but it is a nuisance
Nothing to do with the smoking, the problem is in the vertical deflection unit - the power circuit has a loose contact. Open the tv and check all contacts (including the ones to the coils) and fix them.
