Check for dust build up static charge can jump on dust and cause a short. Keep it clean if powering down or just keep it on you will have less problems. That's why companies leave comp on startup cause shorts

a fuse gone to the speaker terminal of the end amplifier.
There are four lots steering and power transistors or only an integrated powerpack ic to find possible IC in one or in 2 pieces .... can be defective. final stage amplifier is almost always to find on a large heatsink or the cabinet with transistors, or MOSFETs or a one large STK ic they are almost always short-circuited if defect and it is easy to find if defective with a multimeter as it are conventional vintage simple NPN and PNP transistors, it may be that if you have a multimeter ohm sets and measurement performed no resistance is given on the three legs ie the shorted than you the transistors mosfets or sometimes replace an IC output stage 1 or 2 pieces, but do not forget or bad bulging capacitors are responsible or that there was an overload or shorting a speaker cable that has become trapped in the door or a cabinet.
Much options to suggest in case of no sound or only loose connection by shifting a carpet

I've replaced the mosfet rjh3047 because short-circuited. the new one is gone as well shorted. thing else I can check?

you must have some diagram b) must test some around components like capacitor+diode+resistor+ic+Trafo , that will be in short circuit this will provoke the short in your MOSFET transistor.

God bless you

Fuse apx200m

HI,
If the fuse is blowing of then there is problem with the inverter stage of amplifier. There is an inverter stage in the amplifier to boost the 12V to + or - 30 to 40V normally. Its a switching circuit normally uses Mosfets and ferrite core transformer and a driving IC. If the mosfet is shot then the fuse will blow off immediately after power is connected.

Check on thing remove the REM connection and then connect the power. If the fuse blows the there is fault with the Mosfet Its short.
If the fuse blows only when you connect the REM then the amplifier stage is faulty.

Also check by disconnecting the speakers. if any of the speaker is faulty then there is a chance for fuse blow off.

Our home audio/video system. Has an orange light on the power button. But when pushed. Goes on then makes clicking sound then goes into protect mode. . What can we do to fix it?

The amplifer goes into a "protect mode" as there is error or current drain into the stages, usually the output stages.
This can be due to faulty /shorted speakers, shorted output drivers ( MOSFETS), of even a fault in the power supply as if there is a malfunctioning for poor regulation. The fault can be several and needs a good probe with points of elimination to confirm the suspected component. Remove speakersm to test, check the outputs before you can go further.

The protection light on my pyramid 1600 watt 2 channel MOSFET amplifiers is on

It is possible that the amplifier had encountered a fault with a higher current drain which had triggered it to a protection fault condition. The fault can be your output drivers- the MOSFETS/IC's fitted for both the channels, Use a meter after disconnecting to check for short in the drivers. Disconnect the positive and negative voltages to the output and see if the protect changes. Even a fault in the preamp stages that drives in high current into the output can shut the Amplifier. Sometimes this can be a noise like a HUM or HISS before the protect works. Faulty capacitors in these circuits also can cause similar issues and needs close observation.
You need to confirm and replace the specific stages or outputs. If not there can be issues in the mother board, maybe the protect circuit by itself is shutting off due to a faulty bias , maybe a leak in any voltage/current sensing circuit. Also disconnect the speakers and test, if the protect is off then check for short on the speakers.

The unit won"t power up

Please check the power supply to the unit, if the fuse or the main power is faultty. Now if the set has tripped then this can be a protection fault condition. IN POWER BOARD FUSE BLOWEN.FOUND MOSFET 2SK 3528 SHORT.NOW WHAT CAN I DO,HELP ME.

The power supplies on this sort of equipment is a safety item. All components that are replaced, and the manufacturers do not supply the components only a complete board, are critical for safety.
If the chopper transister has gone s/circuit, that was caused by an error in the drive waveform. It really is too complicated to explain on a site like this but a blanket change of the driver stage, output stage and control semiconductors will get you somewhere near to a working power supply.
Hope that helps.

Infinity 600 wat amp

Your amplifier is having a serious fault within preventing further damage to the amplifier. If could be a failure of the output mosfets, failure of the predriver, failure of the bias to the output mosfets, short inthe speakers- check this out- fault inthe error amp section for wrong current indiication or malfunctions in the mother board. All of this will need careful location of the fault by checking ont these stages. Porceed only if you are competent or seek help. Good day

Irf z44n resistence i want to see if this is its original peace?

THERE IS NO WAY TO MEASURE THE RESISTANCE OF A MOSFET OTHER THAN DETERMINING IF IT IS SHORTED, WHICH WILL BE INDICATED BY A CLOSE TO ZERO OHMS MEASUREMENT ACROSS ANY TWO OF THE THREE LEADS. I DO HAVE A METHOD OF TESTING MOSFETS, BUT IT GOES BEYOND THE SCOPE OF THIS FORUM AND REQUIRES AN EXPENSIVE HIGH IMPEDANCE MULTIMETER TO DO SO. YOUR IRFZ44N SHOULD BE MANUFACTURED BY INTERNATIONAL RECTIFIER AND THE EXACT REPLACEMENT SHOULD BE OF THE SAME MANUFACTURER. THESE MOSFETS ARE PROBABLE IN THE POWER SUPPLY OF YOUR AMPLIFIER, AS THEY ARE RARELY USED IN THE OUTPUT SECTION. IF YOU FIND THAT ONE IS SHORTED, THEN THEY ARE PROBABLY ALL SHORTED WITHIN THAT BANK. THE OTHER BANK ALSO MAY OR MAY NOT BE SHORTED......V
