have a copystar#GS-1500 and after power went out, have flashing error code C-6 and 400. Worked perfect just prior. please help!

After a power surge, the machine is flashing 400 and C-6. Unable to reset it.

if you are unable to reset the error using simulation U163 remove the fixing unit and check the continuity of the heater lamps and thermostat. if lamps ok. replace thermostat

How to reset gs-1820 copystar to factory default

press system menu/counter
select service settings via up and down cursor keys

now while pressing start key and # key press enter

then select maintenance mode by using the up down cursor key

then use the arrow keys to get to u020

and select and then run the reset...

these machines do not automatically restart so you will have to flip the power switch manually to reset the machine

the waste tank is full, remove the drum carriage. on bith side remove screw( the one who is inside the hole) dump the waste toner

Copystar CS-1500 "OP" flashing in display

Hello, 'OP' means that the front or upper front cover is open --- close the cover securely. If the message is 'OP1" then the left cover of the document processor is open, close that securely.

Making copies onto legal paper

Press the paper select key for 3 secs.,a default paper size will be shown ,press the zoom keys + or - untill F12 is shown , press the recall %/enter key ,press the zoom keys again untill the correct size is shown , Lg should should be shown for legal,press the recall%/enter key again , the selection should flash and the copier will return to the ready state.
