How can I stop my Sony Experia miro from turning itself off and on again? It wipes off my call log and contacts sometimes when it comes back on and I have to import my contacts to get them back. It ha

There are a couple things you can try. First of all, back-up your phone, then do a factory reset from the settings.

The second thing you can do is to fold a piece of paper a few times and put it against the battery, then close the back. Use something to basically hold the battery tighter in the phone, and see if this stops the restarting. It's possible that the phone is restarting because the battery isn't securely in there, so some pressure on the battery, when the phone is closed again, might help to keep it wedged in there tightly.

If neither of these things help you, it is possible that the phone has a hardware fault, and is restarting because something is wrong with the actual circuit board or something inside of the phone.

You could either send it in to get fixed, or you could replace the phone with a new one.

However, it's always best to start with the free options first.

So, use something to hold the battery tightly in the phone, and/or factory reset the phone to ensure it isn't a program that is causing the phone to crash and restart.

Best of luck!

It keeps saying my username and password is wrong. I lost my phone and have a new one now

No idea which password you are talking about... I'm guessing it's your apple id? if so reset it... if it's an android phone and you can't remember your gmail info reset it. You could be fat fingering your keys on the screen so try again slowly and see if that works. Otherwise your only option is to reset. Most people can't remember the password because they put it in the phone 1 time and never have to type it again.

I am a new cell phone user, my first one. I am having trouble putting contacts in my new phone. I don't know how to find and use punctuation. I thought there might be a more detailed user manual that would...

It would help it I knew the type of phone and model, IE is it a black berry curve or bold or maybe a Motorola?

But regardless here we go,
If this is a flip phone, simply find the icon that says "Contacts", almost all phones will have this.

Once in this screen usually there is a menu key you can press that will bring up a screen that will say "add new contact, etc, etc"

If there's no button for this then it probably is already on the screen and you simply have to scroll down to it.

Once your in that screen usually the phone will have a box for information input, you can put the number in here and press "done" or whatever you see, then it will ask for the contacts info, like name location etc etc.

Again thats about all I can do without knowing what kind of phone you have, if you'd like please give some info.

I put my pin code in wrong and the fone is asking me for my puk code

PUK Code is your Personal Unblocking Key for your simcard. Very common with GSM phones provided by Tmobile or AT&T and formerly Cingular Wireless to name a few. This code is to be used when you've forgotten your Personal Identification Number or PIN to unlock your device.

If you've already tried the wrong code more than 10 times you need to bring your phone to the cellphone store and request a (Re-Flash) of your simcard, or possibly just get a new simcard. You also may want to make sure u never store your contacts on the simcard again if you've experienced this problem before.

Luckily if you take your cellphone to the store most places have a UME device (Universal Memory Exchanger) that should be able to pull the contacts from your sim if they are in there. Otherwise simply exchange your sim card and you'll be fine.

Hope this helps,

How do you unblock your phoe when your PUK is blocked

your SIM card is VOID meaning it does not work any longer. That means you must contact your service provider, and they will have to send you a new SIM card. This happened to me once before, and it was a pain. :-( Anyways I did'nt get charged for the new SIM card though.

Hope this what you were looking for, and next time just remember not to enter the PUK code too many times without knowing the code, contact your provider first hand.

Hope this helps

Now contact your service provide, they will give you a code, for unblock the sim. Don't try to enter wrong code if you enter wrong code more than two times your sim will be rejected.
If your sim has already rejected, than also contact your service provider, they will exchange your rejected sim with new sim(new sim with same number, same balance and same services).

I have a motorola razr v3 and it was asking for a subsidy code then when i found a code and turned the phone back on it says contact service provider and there isnt a way to enter the code does any one...

If one of theses messages appear :

- "Contact Service Provider"
- "Tampert Alter"
- "Wait before enter special Code"
- "Contact Service'

It's because you already entered too many wrong codes, you just have to let the phone ON on theses errors messages and after 40 min to 2 hours, the message "Enter Code Special" will appear again !

please try again after some time.

Hope this information helps you
Thank you

How do i get my cell phone off puk lock

Typically when a phone is asking for a PUK code it means you have tried to edit or set the secuirty pin code. Unfortunately these codes are already predefined by the sim card and the service provider. It gives you the sensation that you can set or change the code but you cannot. You get 3 attempts to enter the correct code after which the phone asks for a PUK code. When it asks for the PUK you also get three tries to undo it. Again PUK codes are predefined by the sim card and the service provider. If you call your service providers technical support number or customer service number they can provide you with the PUK or the PIN code.

>>>> Once the PUK has been entered in wrong 3 times the sim card is shot and deactivated. At this point you will need to get a new sim card to get your phone up and running again. If you have numbers stored to your sim card and not to your phone you will have lost them.

Battery is inserted but my phone says otherwise...

Take the battery out again and clean the contacts. Make sure that none of the contacts in the phone where it connects to the battery are stuck in. Ensure your battery is replaced correctly-I hate to admit Ive put mine in wrong in a hurry a couple of times!

"Insert SIM card."

its the contact of the simcard to the leads. try putting a thin piece of paper over the sim so that there would be pressure on the sim. as always, think of the contact.
