Question about Computers & Internet
Is this a new problem with old account setups? or is this a new problem with a new account setups? What is the operating system installed on your computer? Which Outlook are you using? or is it just Outlook Express?
All these questions should be answered, otherwise i'll give your solutions like a story, so you'd be annoyed.
There are several reasons but please try this simple trick before you take any other actions.
Open the outlook, click "Tools" on the Menu, then "Account Settings" > "More Settings" and locate "My outgoing Server SMTP requires Authentication" Options and select or deselect it. Save the settings and try sending a mail again.
If this doesn't help, then try the next method;
Open Outlook go to > Tools > Accounts > Server > Advanced, and change the SMTP port from 25 to 587, "Apply" then "Ok" and restart the outlook.
