Question about Apple iPod touch

Open Question

Song stops midway and moves on to next song

From day 1 my Ipod Touch 8G has not played right. I synced all my cds and also purchased over 200 itunes. 3/5 songs start to play, then just stop. If I delete the song, then resync it may stop playing at a different place, but it still doesn't play all the way through. If I slide past the point where it glitches, it can play the whole song. I tried erasing ipod, reinstalling itunes on my computer (windows vista), even tried all over on a different computer (windows xp). Help!!! before this ipod takes sailing lessons!

Test the songs that are not playing on the iPod in iTunes and see if the original file is still playable on iTunes if the song still plays re-sync your iPod could be when iTunes copied the song it must have failed or timed out, if that fails re-syncing try restoring you iPod Nano i have had this problem before and I just re-synced and it worked fine!

It wont download any music from itunes..

to solve this it is complicated but it is worth it.
first you download the song you wish to have on your ipod off limewire.
next you open documents on your computer and drag the songs into a folder.
then you select the song by right clicking and open with itunes it will appear in "music" if you wish to add it to a differnet playlist then you right click on the song in "music" the select "move to" and a list will appear then you sync away!
hope that works!! x

80G Ipod Classic skips songs

Try converting the songs into a different format because the format that the song is in might not completely be played on the ipod. Right click on the song and click on convert to mp3. Then try transferring the mp3 format song onto the ipod and it should play right then.

Sometimes you may have a bad sector in your hard drive, you may want to remove that song from iTunes, sync (which will take it off your iPod) then add it back into iTunes and sync again (to add it back on, likely in a different spot on the hard drive). If this does not work, you may want to try and convert that song to another format and then convert it back to MP3.

A fix for now is to right click and get info on the song and go to the options tab and tell it to start 1 second into the song.

Hope this hellps.

Nano skipping song

Hello there! Wow... sounds like you've really been through the proverbial wringer with this issue already! You have indeed tried almost every step I would have suggested already, but here's another thing or two to try: 1) Burn an audio CD of this song. It's a true waste of a CD, but fortunately CDs are quite inexpensive! 2) Eject the CD. 3) In iTunes, find the problem song and add something to the title to make it differentiate it... for instance, if the song was, "Freebird", I would rename it, "Freebird CORRUPT". 4) Re-insert the CD, and now rip this new version of the song into iTunes. 5) Sync up your iPod and see if the issue is resolved. Hope this helps you out! =)
