Relay will be fine if you fix the real problem. Get some new seals (5 of them) into the steam boiler and check for leaks from the teflon tube at the top of the steam boiler. When you have it apart tip it upside down, you will be surprised how much hidden water there is.

Will not power on

Hi There is a reset button or buttons depending on the boiler. That may be the problem or if it isn't the reset buttons its the board. If you need instructions for getting into the machine you will need to email me. This one and the next picture is the new style J boiler. The last picture is the old style boiler.

Power boiler froze and then blew apart where the element enters the boiler. Hoping to remove boiler and get it welded. (not sure re-garding removal)

There are 2 boilers on these machines, Which one are you having this problem with?
I might have the tank/boiler for the group heads.

If you remove the boiler, Replace O'rings and gaskets.

Red boiler light will not go on. The boiler does heat up.

Open the steam valve when you turn the machine on that will vent out the boiler, keep it open until it starts to hiss slightly and produce small steam bubbles, then close and machine should heat to temp. If that solves your problem then the vent valve needs to be replaced, until then you can turn using the steam valve open trick.

Saeco Incanto Classic has no sign of life. Has horseshoe type heater, fuse has continuity. Power switch tests ok. May have experienced power outage.

Hi
There are 2 boilers in your machine. There is a main boiler on the left rear of the machine. It should have 2 thermostats that each have a reset button. The buttons are between the 2 wires on each thermostat. They are on the outside of the boiler between the boiler and the outside of the machine. Push the buttons and then try again.

My seaco vienna black will not process water

Hi
Don't use vinegar. Go to Starbucks and get their descaler, or order it on line. How often have you descaled the machine. Most people don't do it enough and if you have the new style boiler you can plug them, then you can unplug them. You have to replace the whole boiler. Descale more often than not enough.

Limited water output (saeco vienna superautomatica model year 04)

Could be 3 things. Pump, flow meter, or clogged boiler. Pump is a standard ulka pump, flow meters are bought only from saeco as well as boilers. If i had to guess.... If its a vienna black than i'd point to the flowmeter. If you get pressurized water out of the steam wand than its either the flow meter or the boiler. Pointing more towards the flow meter (u shaped white plastic part with in and out tubes.

Saeco Primea Ring stuck on warming up

Hi
I had the same problem and could solve it but i had take the machine apart.
Under boiler you have 2 thermo fuses that can be resetted. After reset i have checked if boiler get 220volt, It did for a short while but the fuses goes off again.
That means boiler is ok, it gets hot but fuses goes of due to temperature reach over 170 degrees celcius. That means that the power is olways on to the heater and doesnt stop to heat.
In diagnostic i could see that the temperature sensor does show the high temperature. That means that temp. sensor is ok which leads to the controller of the power to boiler. On the board i found big heatsink and a triac atached to it. I soldered it out and measure that it was spoiled.
Ordered new one for 3 euro. Soldered new one on the board and the problem was solved.
Original was BTA16-700CW but they didnt have it so i replaced it with BTA16-600CW, difference is that original one can handle 700volt the new one 600, but there is only 220volt it will controll anyway so that was ok.
I atach a picture.
Regards, Pawel

No Power

Hi,

Take off the water tank and loosen the two screw in the chassi. Lift the chassis little and take off the back piece.

If your machine is new model then you have a round boiler on the right side, put in a finger between the chassi and the boiler, you have two thermostat fuse you have to reset.

If you have a old model the you have a fuse on a wire, if you not find any wire with fuse, then you have to take off the top of the machine. You will then see the power card, find the fuse on it and check it.

Hope this will help you.

Best regards
/Mirran
