Hello,

Check your monitor cable where it goes into the computer. That's a commen cause for a blue screen, also,
There is a lens that overlays the CRT or LCD screen right before the lenticular lens. This can grow old and ware thin. As to let to much color through causing this effect. Can cause spots or total overlay. Needs to be replaced.

Take care.

PANASONIC LCD PROJECTOR MODEL # PT-AE900U

The manual says that it will do this as a reminder that it has ended the recommended lamp life (on mine PTAE900E this starts at 2700hrs and supposedly can blow from then until the max of 3000hrs)

sounds scary enough i guess but they put that 10minutes on/off thing in there to kinda force you to get it changed...

mine is at 2600 anyone know of a good place to get a new lamp in melbourne australia?

cheers dave

CP-S335 popping noise when powering on

Hi Eva

A Projector does'nt like being switched on and off all the time , if you are going to watch a couple of movies - rather leave the machine running all the time - this will also help you to get more hours out of your lamp - and that's a promise.

As far as the noise is concerned - it is most probably just the machine that was not cooled down properly at that stage.
