The menu won't show up. On the top screen of the ds it says Menu? I'm not sure if I have to download anything else to put into the sd card of the ttdsi. What can I do to fix this?

download this firmware http://www.r4i.cn/download-en.htm and empty your micro sd card of everything beside the 4 game files. then copy over all files and programs directly to your sd card. then insert it back into your r4i and your r4i into your ds. after you turn it on it should go to a menu screen after you tap on the Alex rider, Storm breaker thq. then select your game to play it.
If your Acekard is real you just need the correct menu software! I got the right software from the shop I got my card. Their cards are real and the shop is US based. Check their download page for the links http://www.dscardworld.com
put the software on the sd card the ds kernal software then goto the removeble drive, open it and create a new folder, call it Games, put all of the games into this folder so it creates a new directory in the menu. Make sure you u use winrar or winzip to extract the files to the folder.
First make sure you have the correct kernel for the card. Go to the website where you purchased it and download the current firmware. Next copy all of that onto the micro sd card. Build folders in you sd card, very simple right click...new folder... enter... then label them correctly .. Label one movies... music... games.. etc... then put your files into the correct folders.. Another common error is that people use to high of a sd card.... some r4 cards only accept up to a 2gb micro card If you use one that is too big it will stick on the loading screen ... If none of this works reload all the software onto the card and start from scratch... hope this helps
Have you downloaded and installed the software you need to do this so the games will play
Download it here http://www.dsir4i.com/r4i-software.html
but make sure you leave it at the root of the card SEPERATELY FROM THE GAMES
put ur sd card onto the computer and make sure the games are still on the sd card, then wipe ur sd card after puttging the games into a separate file on ur compputer.
Make sure they are in .nds format if not they wont work , then downlaod new r4 software and put it onto ur sd card, then make a folder called "games" and put the games back on in the folder called games.
Also if the problem occurred after u have recently downloaded a new game i would delete the new game cos it may have a virus
:) hope this helps.!
What i would suggest is to take the micro sd card and delete the menu folder and the menutt.dat and anything else associated with the main menu settings. Drag and drop the games folder or games and saves to the desktop and then format the sd card in FAT32.
I appreciate this may seem a little extreme but i have had quite a lot of experience with NDS flash cartridges and the problem you describe usually happens when the menu.tt file becomes corrupt.
Once the sd card is formatted, re install all the nesessary software (you should have these 3 files on the sd card :
TTmenu folder ttmenu.dat ttmenu.sys but, DO NOT put any games onto it until you have placed it into the nds and turned it on allowing the TTcard to build a menu for the games to be loaded from.
reformat your micro sd card,"by right clicking the micro card in my computer, you can format it" this wipes the card clean and download the latest software from R4 and then reinstall everything, hopes this helps
