SOURCE: 8 GB Ipod Nano went dead and now won't charge

Try resetting into disk mode by holding down "MENU" and the centre round button for a couple of seconds at the same time, let it charge for a couple of minutes - important, eject it from your hard drive first, quit all applications that work with your iPod, then press the "MENU" and round button at the same time again press the play button - it should go to a grey screen with a apple on it - re-atach your iPod to the machine again - it should now look like its charging, and should launch iTunes again giving you full functionality to your iPod again - let it fully recharge before unplugging.

SOURCE: My ipod is frozen. "Connected eject before disconnected."

Hello, if it's still frozen try holding the power button and the center of the scroll wheel, or the power button and the top of the scroll wheel until it restarts, then try re-connecting it again.

Ipod touch 8gb

Unplug the thing.  Install itunes on your computer. Restart your computer.  Open up itunes, then plug this thing in and follow the screen instructions to set the thing up as a new user with your name.  Wait for the computer and ipod to do its thing and don't unplug until the computer says you can or when your sure everything is done- click the little eject icon and then unplug the ipod.

Try doing this: Toggle the hold switch and put it back in the off position. Then press and hold the center button and the menu button simultaneously for ten seconds and the apple symbol should come up on the screen. Then it should work like normal. Hope this helps!

does it work on the charger? if not, then contact apple or your dealer for more assistance or repairs.

If it works on the charger, plays music and so on, your battery is probably dead and you need a new one.
