Question about Car Audio & Video
The procedure is as follows:--
Step 1: Remove the arm rest bit. Carefully insert a flat-head screwdriver and gently pry up the soft bit. It comes off quite clean but be careful.
Step 2:Do the same with the door controls block. Careful not to scratch this as it can get damaged very easily! You should now have a fully exposed arm rest.
Step 3:Remove the wing mirror bit. This is only clipped in with a plastic washer thing at the top and its held in at the bottom by the actual door panel. Just pull at the top corner and it will come away from the door.
Step 4: Remove the screws holding the door panel to the door.
Step 5: Now Pry away the whole plastic door panel. You will find it easier to start from the inside edge and just give it
a quick sharp pull.It will eventually all be loose and you then just lift it up and out from the top and away from the door (Below).
NOTE: The white fixers along the bottom edge of the panel.
Remove Speaker Cover
Insert a screwdriver (with the tip taped) between the door trim and the speaker cover to pry out and remove (don’t laugh at my blown speaker and missing cover). Check fig:--
