Question about Garmin nuvi 350 GPS Receiver
Hi - frenchy3112
I had this problem myself - other than going to the expensive option of getting a new suction cup, inspect the existing one carefully, and if here is no crack or break in the cup the problem could be caused by some slight distortion of the suction cup caused by it resting on other items in the glove box or similar. the distortion does not need to be much to stop an airtight seal. Here's the solution: Get a bowl of boiling water, soak the suction cup part of the cradle in the boiling water for a few seconds until it goes slightly soft, remove it from the water and quickly, dry the part. Next quickly (whilst the plastic is still soft) apply the suction cup to the windscreen in the method indicated by the manufacturer -and that is it! The water softens the plastic so that it can be pulled into place by the vacuum of suction cup mechanism.
Hope this is of help to you or anyone with a similar problem
