Hi

You probably have your rca in the wrong output u have to put the rca yellow red and white coming out of the tv on an output not an input and put the other end in the entertainment in an input and where u plug it in it should say aux or aux 2 or video1.
Please check the bellow link for further help…

it sounds like you need to turn on our amplifier. this is simple and easy to do just by connecting the blue/white wire off of the back of the radio to the blue wire on the harness that connects to the factory harness.

Hi I have an SSi MTS 100 system, I wanted to ask if I can use a Toslink Female to 3.5mm Minijack Male to plugin into my speaker system when connecting my TV, as my TV has an optical output.

This a very odd question. I not ever seen anything with a toslink Male output so why u want a female toslink (never come across such a thing). Optical obiously don't convert to electical without (probably expensive) convertor. Suggest u examine your question before u ask it.

We recently purchased an AVR 146 receiver and have attempted to connect our DVR satellite receiver, a DVD player/recorder and our Hitachi (non HD) TV, plus a surround sound system to it. The surround sound...

Hello,

This is how the connection is suppose to be, DVR "OUT", to TV "IN" using the RCA plugs, then press AV on the TV. If this is how you connected it, then maybe there is something wrong with the video wire (Yellow).

As for the DVD, you need to connect an Audio wire separately because the component Red + Green + Blue wire only stands for video. Audio is Red and White, this must be connected for you to get sound from the DVD.

To connect the Audio for your DVD player, connect Red and White wire to Audio "OUT" of your DVD player, to "AUX" in of your AVR 146 receiver, then select AUX on your receiver and sound will come out from your DVD through the receiver.

I hope this is not complicated for you. This connection is simple, all you need is to understand the basics which is OUT and IN. If you want to watch DVD on your TV, this means the DVD will be good OUT to IN of the DVD. The same goes for audio.

If you don't understand, please let me know so that I can direct you further.

Good luck.

Need help with SSI Cineplex 1500 Home Theater hook up..have all speakerwires hooked up,have 2 wire rca cable hooked up to input on system, going to output on satellite reciever, whaen I hit test tone I hear...

Hi, Hiss soundare from RCA cables. You need to reconnect again, but using a different cable for connection.

And also sometimes home theater acts that way during test mode, Check the manual and you will see how to set the home theater to see the mode that will allow all speakers to work. It's a normal thing when connecting a newly bought home theater. It the settings.Use the manual.

Take care.

What do the colored wires mean i am installing

It is what do they call color coding . Like example white goes to red wire or blue connect to orange . In radio ,the positive charge connect to the positive and the negative negative connect to the negative, there is a wire that should be connected to the ground and the wire that should be connected to the battery.

You have problem with wiring. You need two separate wires, 1 - pc-> TV (video), other pc->TV (audio). Audio cable - minijack to rc
