Everytime I try to log on using my email address mckmcktaylor@sky.com and my password - brixham - I get a message - LOG IN FAILED. I ask for new details to be sent to my email address and they always come through as mckmcktaylor@sky.com - Password brixham - I re- enter these log in details and I still get the same message LOG IN FAILED? I am registered with Magix.com and Cahoot I have also placed these in my trusted file internet connection and I still cannot log on - THIS HAS BEEN FOR OVER SIX MONTH NOW AND I CANNOT ENJOY MAGIX ANYMORE BECAUSE OF THIS. It is ruining my DAY and stopping me doing my hobbies. PLEASE HELP SORT IT OUT . I have contacted magix loads of times and never had it sorted.

Magix Movie Maker manual needed.

INFO: PDF Manual?
An electronic copy of the manual is included with all boxed Magix programs.

You can find this by:

1. Clicking "Start"
2. Then "All programs"
3. Then choose the applicable MAGIX program.
4. The manual is in the "Documentation" folder.

The manual is in the PDF format and so you will need a PDF reader like Adode Acrobat Reader. If you do not have it installed, there is a copy on the MAGIX program CD, or it can be downloaded from the Adobe site.

If you have an e-version of the program you should have been sent an email with a link to the manual.

How can i change the format that my "magix Photostory CD & DVD" program burns my pictures/music to a DVD that WILL play on a home DVD player and not just a computer? I have a Windows XP

There are three ways to create a Video CD (VCD) that contains your photo stories:
You can obtain Microsoft Plus! Digital Media Edition and view the Photo Story 3-authored WMV file in Photo Story 2 by going to Play your story or create a video CD of your story and then create a VCD.using the Photo Story 2 Video CD-burning feature.
• You can obtain Microsoft Digital Image Suite 10 or above and view the Photo Story 3-authored WMV file in the Photo Story that comes with the Digital Image Library and save and burn to VCD.
• You can obtain VCD-authoring products that work with Photo Story files, such as MyDVD by Sonic Solutions or InstantCD\DVD by Pinnacle Systems. You can use these software to convert the Windows Media video (WMV) files into files that can be copied to a DVD and played in a DVD player.
Note: VCD and DVD-authoring software is not included with Photo Story 3.

Hello,

It may be that you have already registered with that email address and are having trouble getting logged in. I would suggest contacting the manufacturer direct with the contact information found here.

NOTE:

It looks like the technical support number MAY incur long distance charges. I would suggest initially trying the toll-free 888# and see if they will assist you first. Then try the other numbers or the email address.

Hope this helps. Please remember to rate this information.

Thanks

My 14 year old Daughter recorded a song "Frozen" about a year ago for me on my Magix 2005 and I saved it. When I went to show her a tune I made up on Magix, her song somehow disappeared or...

Try searching your computer for the file name "frozen1000000.HDP". It may be that it was just moved to another location so when Magix looks for it in 'C:\Magix\mm2005_deluxe\HDP\' it cannot find it.

I'm not sure what version of Windows you are on, but you should be able to click the Start button then Search from the menu on most versions. If Windows XP, choose "All Files and folders" from the left-hand side once Search opens and type in the file name in the top field "All or part of the file name".

Do you backup your computer? If so, you might be able to recover the file from backup. If not I would start backing up your files ASAP!! That way if you lose a file in the future, you can recover it.

Hope this helps. : )
