Question about Frigidaire Dishwashers
Our Frigidaire dishwasher (Model GLD2450RDB0) has recently started making more noise and is quite a bit louder than normal. It still seems to wash & dry OK, but it sounds to me like the circulation motor, or possibly the drain pump, is going out. The noise seems to occur whether in upper rack or normal wash mode, and seems to pause with the cycle. Any easy, specific way to confirm the problem so that I can order parts?
Try to position the machine, so that you can run the cycle and watch the dish washer. Remove the back panel and hear the sound of origination. Take suitable action as per your convenience. You can clean & replace the bearings if they are worn or replace as a whole unit.
