Question about Dell Latitude D510 Notebook
I replaced my motherboard in my Dell D510 and it will not power on now.<!-- from fixya rte -->

Some machines need a battery with some power left in them, to work. If the battery is finished you will need to get it rpacked or buy another.
If the battery should be OK you cannot run it on the power supply, that may have burnt out. You can buy ones that work on all machines much cheaper that an original.
