Bad Power Supply. Weak Voltage power rail. Suggest you replace the Power Supply. Before you do, make sure you follow Anti-Static Precautions, and also clean out the inside of the computer, with a can of compressed air for computers, if it is dirty. Need to know how to open your computer case, and replace the Power Supply? State in a Comment (The Power Supply is a 200 Watt unit. It isn't the common ATX style of Power Supply. ATX power supply case size, is approximately 6 inches Long, 6 Inches Wide, and 3-1/2 inches Tall. The PSU (Power Supply Unit) that fits in your computer, is approximately 6 inches Wide, 3.75 inches Tall (3 and 3/4 inches), and 4 inches Long. Be prepared for a 'Sticker Shock' when you see the average price ) Should you want to test your Power Supply, before taking advice from a stranger, I would be happy to lead you through it. You'll need an economical Multimeter, or a power supply tester. State in a Comment if this is your intentions.

The LED may have burnt out. It does not matter if the LED is working so long as the machine is going.
The lead to the motherboard may have become dislodged if the machine has been shifted. It's quite easy to open the case and check that all leads are firmly placed.Do not have the power lead connected and you will be safe from shock.

HP Photosmart 7280 all in one. When power cord plugged in, printer will not turn on

Sounds like it could a power supply problem inside the printer or a motherboard component failure. It needs to be taken in for servicing. There is no way to tell what the problem is without an internal review.

Is not working more

Switch the printer off.

Press and hold the green button on your printer and turn the printer on. You will see that the lights flash for a moment and then turn off. After a few seconds, the attention light will turn on followed by ready light and the green light. Keep pressing the green button. In a few seconds, the attention light and the ready light will turn off.

Push the toner rotate button while you continue pressing the green button. As you briefly push the toner button, you will see the light flashing. Release both the toner button and the green button.

Repeatedly push the red button (cancel button). Now all the working lights on the printer will turn off.

Open and close the lid of HP printer once. The light will start blinking.

Press the green button. Your HP toner cartridge chip will be reset.

Hp desktop blinking green light won't come on

mine does that when it's in stand-by mode. I just push the power button and it comes on....

Assuming you've already tried that....push and hold the power-button down for 5 seconds and the power SHOULD go out. *IF* it does not, then disconnect the power cord in the back for 1min....then reconnect and try to boot. If it *DOES*, then do the same...unplug the power cord for 1min and reconnect and boot.

1) perform a powerdrain i.e. unplug the power cable from the back of the computer and then press power button and hold it down for 10 secs
2) open up the chasis and reseat the power cable i.e ATX connector coming out of the SMPS to the motherboard
