Inspect the placement of any supporting posts in your enclosure, whether they all line up with corresponding holes in the board. Pay special attention to metal posts, as they may short-circuit something if incorrectly positioned.
If this is double checked, then do the following. I understand, that the board works "on the table", right? Try to hold the working motherboard in your hands and slightly bend/twist it a little, and observe if it still works. If it stops working when mechanically bent a little, then there's some component(s) on the board that have poor electrical contact; it can be a badly soldered component, or even a broken track on the board - it is very hard to find and repair such fault.

It sounds as if the motherboard is not correctly mounted. make sure that the screws you use are the correct ones for the job. They must only be placed in the "mounting holes" on the motherboard, not any other. Those holes have a contact to earth the board with the case correctly.
2. Are you sure it is not cracked? when you install it and screw it down the crack can open a little bit. Try not screwing it down tight, to test that.
3. Check that the memory is actually fully clicked in the slots.

Hi There, i wonder or you can help me please. one of my friends gave me a motherboard. but with no other components. can you please help me what to buy for my new motherboard. CPU tipe, memory and so on....

My friend, this is a lot like saying my friend gave me a spoon, what kind of a stove should I purchase?

Go purchase a computer if you want one. Beyond your initial question, you have not given any of the specifics concerning the board ... what CPU socket it might have, kind of slots. Do you have a cabinet? A power supply? Might you have ANY componelt that might be used on this un-named board? Is the board even any good?????

What form factor does your new mother board take? Will it fit into an existing cabinet you have? Will the power supply you might have fit your board?

The nicest thing I might say my friend is put your new board on Craig's list or E-bay and get a coule bucks from it.

Thank you for your interest in FixYa.com

My mother board in out side of the cabinet work properly but when i put in cabinet it do not work only start pc then hang..

Dear Sir,

It seems to be problem with your cabinet, some circuits of mother board may contacting metal surface of your cabinet,it may cause malfunctioning of your motherboard.
So before putting the mother board in to the cabinet, use some bedding material like cellulose paper,it prevents contact of motherboard circuits to the cabinet surface.if also problem remain unsolved may be problem with *********** board shows problem when it stands vertically.

I think it helps,if you have any problem leave a feedback we were happy to assist you.

Good luck
