Have you tried opening the unit?

Can you find the chassis number at the back of the TV or inside the unit?

It could be a circuit/ component failure or a communication failure

Can you measure voltages inside the unit?

( If so, can you post the output voltages on the power supply unit? )

    • there are images on the ff link,

please try to see if these images, look like the one you are having

And here is the PS Board sample image:

here are possible solution , if it is the image above looks the same as yours:

There could be many reasons why, your TV is not yet
    coming on ,

    • Circuits/components on the PS board,

    • Communication on the SSB ( one next to it )

    • Less
likely , but possible Tact switches in front controls

    • Or
other Circuits like Vertical and Audio

    • Circuits/components:

    1 ) There could be

    bad capacitor

    ( CP110, CP150,
CP120 and CP114 ) on the Power / Deflection Board

    like these :

2 ) There could be insufficient supply voltages on the Flyback

    B+ starts here:

    • having
none means a short in the system

    • having a voltage of say at least 45V means a partially shorted

may need to resolder these pins also

    • having a 110V means there is no oscillation, assuming horiz out

    is OK

    3 ) a shorted horiz out TL010/ bad CL031

    of TL010

    horiz = horizontal

    4 ) No 200V line to Video

5 ) Vertical Deflection Circuit Failure

    • There
might be still other causes, like changed valued Resistors,

other Diodes ( like DL032 ), But try on those first.

    • Additional guides

    and for testing

    How to test MOSFET

    How to
    solder boards properly

    How to use a multimeter

    Let me
know if you need further assistance, after you started

Thank you for choosing FixYa for assistance. I hope
    that my

    information probes useful to you

It seems that you are not taking about the TV instead its a cable box for that you'll need to contact dish network and get the box replaced as it has gone bad.

The reason your television keeps going off after the squeel is because it is having a power problem. The power is not getting to the part it is going to power the television from.

The power panel is simply faulty and needs replacement. To replace the power panel, all you need to do is to open up the television, try to locate the power panel, it is connected to the cable that is plugged to the power source, try to replace it with a new one and try to turn on the television, and you will be amazed that it will work wonderfully fine again.

Take care

The power steering belt and the timing belt are two different belts and I doubt the timing belt is the squeeling belt if it only squeels when you make turns. From my experience if its squeeling only when you make turns chances are the problems going to be in the power steering pump itself.Get back to me and let me know thanks.

New Bigfoot toy for XMAS buzzes three times and stops working. Reset with power switch and does the same thing repeatedly. Made sure battery was fully charged.

There is a pen hole beside power switch........with the power off press and hold this button (with a safety pen or something)....while holding the button turn it on and hold the button for at least 3 seconds. Then push every button on the remote, then charge the battery until the indicator is "green". That will fully reset your Bigfoot.

My hp w1907 monitor has suddenly stopped working!!as soon as i turn on the tower it just displays"monitor is going to sleep"PLEASE HELP!!!

I love this one. I've actually done this many times before and have been successful.

1. Turn the computer off and unplug the power cord from the back of the tower.

2. Press and hold the power button for about 3 seconds while the computer is unplugged (this drains the remaining power from the capacitors on the motherboard).

3. Plug the computer back in and turn it on.

If that does not work, follow steps 1 and 2 again, but this time:

3. Open the computer while it is unplugged and unplug the power supply from the motherboard then hold down the power button again for 3 seconds. (You may also want to take the RAM out and put in back in)

4. Plug everything back in and turn the computer on.

The TV is on protect mode.

Try first leaving the TV power cord unplugged for some times, let say one hour or so.

Also ensure that the fault is not coming from a faulty receiver box sending bad signal, check if you get same problem with no receiver box or dvd connected.

If that does not work, and you keep having a flashing led on front of the TV, and tv turning off by itself after a while, that indicates a fault condition.

The flashing light indicates a diagnostic state called protection.
When the TV goes on protection there are only two possible reasons.

1The internal circuits are jammed because of electrostatic charges accumulating on capacitors, or because of a wrong voltage read by the main chip on your monitor controller board. this started the protection circuit.

2 The protection circuit detected a wrong voltage or abroken contact, identified an internal fault and kicked in , startingthe flashing light.

If you are in situation one, then theTV will reset just unplugging power cord for one or two hours, sometimes even minutes.

If you are in situation 2 , then there is an internal fault.

Common faults that can occur are a blown capacitor on power board, a convergence IC has blown, or a fault on Digital board.

Check also the video cable or any external connection cable, if the cable is shorting, or the connector is bad, you can get same flashing state because of the video cable.

If under warranty contact the manufacturer ringing the number on the user manual

If you want to repair at your own expenses, just locate any good qualified repairer.

Need code # for rca tv

If your remote control has a search button, this is how you do it-------- User submitted information for the SystemLink 3: To clear things up and make it simple, here is how to program the RCA Systemlink 3 remote:
  1. Press and hold the "Code Search" button until the LED lights, then release. LED will stay light.
  2. Press and release the device key to be programmed. LED will go off when button is pressed and back on when released. LED remains on.
  3. Press and release the remote On/Off (power) button as many times as required to turn your device OFF.
  4. When device turns OFF, press and release the ENTER button.
Test remote on device, if ALL functions do not work, repeat above procedure.
***IMPORTANT NOTE*** Count how many times you press the On/Off button. If ALL funtions do not work and you need to repeat, you don't want to stop at the same non-working code. For instance, if it takes 23 times to turn your device off and after testing, the remote does not control all functions, repeat steps 1-3 BUT when the device turns off at the 23rd time, turn it back on using the power button ON THE ACTUAL DEVICE then continue with step 3 and 4 from above.
