I have a Samsung SGH A777, bought it used and messing was guarded with a password here is what I did.....warning though this will delete anything on your phone so what you need to say put on your sim card or save to external memory. Enter exactly *2767*3855* This will take it back to factory default. Remember SAVE anything you want to keep

Only way to reset it is to flash your phone. Search internet for flash files and flasher. After flash your phone will be set to default one!
