Question about Hotpoint Aquarius WMA56 Front Load Washer
The machine was working perfectly, it had been removed, stored in a garage for a few months and then reconnected and now it does not heat the water. can it be as simple as a connection problem?
If the machine was moved incorrectly, ie. the shipping/transit bolts were not refitted then most likly the cabling/contacts of the element were damaged if not the element itself. The element can usually be accessed from the back of the machine an is normally in the lower area of the drum. A quick visual inspection may identify a broken component, if it does not remove the element usually only held in with one or two screws, just make sure that the seal is intact and in good condition when refitting,
Hope this helps, thanks for using Fixya.
