What's the Motorola box under my back seat Chevy trailblazer 02 also I'm hooking a amp to battery where do I connect the amp turn on wire I guess it be remote wire

The motorolla box may be remnants of an old disk changer for the stereo. With an amp your power wire goes into the positive wire that goes to your battery, your ground wire will be connected to some bare metal close to wherever you decide to install the amp, and the blue remote wire will be connected to the remote wire that in on the wiring harness of your aftermarket radio ( I'm sure your not installing an amp with your stock radio). Good luck I hope this helps

I wanna put it into my car myself but dont know how and was hoping for a lil instruction

you will need a amp install kit witch comes with a 15 ft patch cable power line for amp and a blue line for remote. these wires run from the radio to the amp. The blue wire is called remote it turns the amp on or off depending on the radio state. the patch cable is rca jacks on both ends the back of the radio should have the female part of the rca jacks hanging from it. The other end goes into the amp. and last but not least the heavy red wire will go from the battery to the amp usually there is a fuse holder that you need to put between the battery and the amp. As far as grounding just ground the amps negative to the car chasis some where.

Good Luck Hope this helps

you need to to do these few steps.

run a power line form battery to amp. 4guage
run a ground from car frame to amp.(scratch paint off under the carpet in the truck and screw it down.
run a remote line from the radio to the amp.( blue wire)
if using for sub run rca wires from radio to amp plug in to sub or aux ports on radio.
last hook up the speakers to the amp

I need a wiring diagram for installing 2 LT980-2

do you need help just for the power or for the audio or both?

power it is simple
positive goes to the battery but with a fuse in the middle
negative goes to a metal ground point on the car (but not battery)
remote goes to the radio with should have a blue and white cable if radio does not have remote line then use the acc wire from radio

for sound
your amp does two speakers and im guessing you want the back ones amplified
so cut the 4 wires that come from the radio and goes to the back speakers 2 positive and two negative
and connect this to the input the phono terminals on the back (unless your radio has phono terminals for audio out on the back side

then take the output from the amp and run it to the speakers one positive and negative to each speaker

i cant seem to find a wiring diagram for that amplifier but i can give you a more genral diagram

How to install a kill switch for kenwood amp? i have a 2002 ford taurus, factory radio. which means (this thing does not have an RCA wire behind the radio). where do i install the kill switch then?...

Run the remote on the amp to a known switched power. (one that goes on and off with the switch) Does not have to be associated with the wires in the stereo.

2003 monte carlo no sound radio comes on and all functions on radio face works. factory amp in trunk i suspect to be problem i need a wiring diagram so i can put in aftermarket amp.

one thing you can do is by pass the amp with a harness you should be able to get by doing that it will enable you to very easly install an after market amp but you will need pac converters to be running out of your factory radio to this which will allow you to run RCA's to you new amp then you have to power the amp with is not bad if you know how do that then you should be set one other thing after you by pass your factory amp you will want to make sure when tying you wires back into the system not to tie them back into the factory amp

Subs on stock radio

chev stock radio does not have extra plug in for sub. to run your sub, im assumed you also going to run an amp to it also. there are no addition plug in in the back, but that does not stop anyone if you know how to rig things. i would not recommend rig wires on your 2007. I would install a new radio before rigging that car; than add a sub. keep in mind most of GM radios come with stock amp built into the radio itself. If you cut the wires from the radio and wire it to your sub amp you will get nothing but distorted sound. anything sound goes to any amp need to be pre-amp in order to work properly. hope that help some

Black typically goes to ground.
Red goes to battery (+) (+ all the time)

Installation

Buy an amp wiring kit. The battery cable goes to the battery (duh, right?) with the fuse within 18 inches of the battery. The ground gets bolted to a clean section of the car chassis/body. the remote lead goes to the radio's remote out (blue/white stripe). the rca cable goes to the radio's Sub/rear RCA outputs. Speaker wires go the speakers. Done!
