Question about Dell Inspiron B130 Notebook
I would like to be able to connect my Dell Inspiron B130 to my ViewSonic VX910 monitor but have no idea how or where to begin. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
Just connect the VGA 15 pin cable from the monitor to the VGA port on the laptop.
Turn on the monitor then the computer.
Hopefully Windows will find new hardware and ask you to run the multiple display wizard.
If the external display doesn't automatically turn on then you need to hit a keystroke combination. FN+ the key on the top row that has an icon that looks like a picture of a monitor. Usually an F key.
This keystroke combination switches between LCD, external Monitor and both.
When you get video on the external monitor, then you can get into the display control panel and change the resolutions and display modes to your liking!
