Question about LG 32LG30 32 in. LCD HDTV
If the TV has VGA input the just use VGA cable, just set the TV to 'PC' or 'VGA' on the on screen source inputs selection. On your laptop, you need to set the video resolution to the native resolution of the TV, if it is set too high, you will get 'FOTMAT NOT SUPPORTED', or 'OUT OF RANGE' on the screen.
You will be using Fn key plus either F4, 5, 6, or 7 depends on your make and model of your laptop, the combination keys will let you select Internal, external, or both displays. You will also need to set the display properties on your laptop to alllow the external display to be extended desktop, or cloned of the your laptop display.
