Alright, I helped somebody out with this yesterday so I am going to just copy over my other solution, for the same issue with an unmountable drive:
You need to repair the Master Boot Record. This is a fairly complicated procedure so if you are not confident in your computer skills, this issue is worth hiring a professional to handle.
What you will need is a bootable CD, such as a PE application, which you can use as a platform to run checkdisk.
Boot from this CD and then un-mount your internal hard drive. Run CheckDisk (chkdsk command on cmd) with both of the parameters /f and /r
This should go through your hard drive and repair your MBR.
Reboot your computer and you should be good to go.
If this does not work, run a repair-reinstall. This reinstalls all system files including your MBR and bootable files on the X drive.
Good luck, please rate my solution!

I don't think it's corrupt bios, maybe a virus or malware.
But if you can go to the computers maker website and download bios and install them the way they tell you to install them.

I have a toshiba a305 it turns on says toshiba then just turns black still on all lights and fans but just a black screen

Your system is not producing video output after the POST, which means the Windows video is messed up or there is a problem with a component like memory.
Because you can see the Toshiba splash screen, it tells you the LCD screen is fine. At least you know the LCD screen is working. See if you can get into the CMOS setup screen. I think it may be by pressing F2 on startup. If you can get to that, make sure the hardware is correct (like seeing if your hard drive is seen as installed).
You can also try to press F8 on startup and start the computer in safe mode. Very possibly something is trying to start when Windows starts and not completing its startup.

My laptop is on but the screen is blue and won't go to the desktop

A Mac that shows you a blank blue screen instead of logging you in may be afflicted by a malfunctioning startup item. Most people have a number of programs that start up whenever you log into your computer, and it's likely that one of these programs is causing issues. The startup item is unable to load, and so it causes the rest of the computer to hang.
In order to get your Mac past this hanging blue screen, you need to boot into safe mode and figure out which startup item is causing problems. The Apple Support article "I see a blank blue screen when I try to start up my computer" tells you exactly how to go about this procedure. Basically, you must remove all your startup items and add them back in one-by-one, rebooting each time until you find the one that causes the hanging blue screen.

You could try turning the computer off at the switch when this happens. Sometimes it is a very temporary problem. You would need to wait a few minutes then turn it back on and restart your computer.
