Question about Sony Playstation 3 (PS3) Console
Your console has developed a common fault. If it is within it's warranty period then call up Sony asap and they will replace/repair for you. If it is outside of it's warranty period and has not been opened then Sony will repair it but they will charge you.
There are DIY fixes but they are quite complicated and involve certain hardware to perform them. Here is part 1 of a 6 part guide to repair your console: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U70SgRDVcBo
Hope this helps,
