I just purchased an 8gb card and can't format it. I've followed the simple camera instructions but no luck. What do you suggest?

I would suggest getting an SD card or two. The LS443 was designed to work with SD cards, which max out at 2GB. Your 8GB card is actually an SDHC card which, while it will fit into the card slot, will not work with the camera.

Internal memory is full Kodak N137 how to get rid of message

If your SD card is full
Download a program from the internet like PICASA3 for free
to load your pictures on.
Then Format (erase) the SD card then you will be OK.
May I suggest you purchase a larger SD card 16 or 32GB
you would fill up so fast. Good Luck

64mb is a very small memory card..... my Canon might fit just 1 picture on there, with the 8gb, just follow the camera instruction to format it..... the camera wants to prepare the card for use.

I have had my camera for 3 years but never had bought a memory card for it. I recently purchased one from Walmart. When i put the memory card in the digital display almost gets stuck and won't open so...

The camera takes SD cards up to 2GB (not SDHC cards). If you've been taking pictures using the camera's internal memory, you must first get rid of those pics. With no card in the camera, go into the menu and find "format" and follow the on-screen instructions. Then, insert your new card and go through the "format" routine again to prepare the new card.

I have the dmc-lz3 and the built in memory is full...how do i delete the memory and also...i purchased a 8.0 gb memory card and the camera is not finding it..can you help please

If you delete the internal memory, you will lose all your pictures...is that what you want? If so, with no card in the camera, go into the menu and find "format" and follow the on-screen instructions. The 8GB card you purchased is an SDHC card....your camera can only use SD cards.

After inserting the new SanDisk, SDHC Card, 8GB the camera prompts "Memory card requires formatting", press continue; warms that formatting will delete everything on memory card; pres continue;...

First thing; check owner's manual and USA distributor, make absolutely sure that this camera is able to read/write to a 8GB card!
If so, put that card into your computer, directly into appropriate slot or through a "reader" and the USB port. If computer runs Windows, access My Computer, click on external memory device, and RIGHT CLICK. You will get a box which offers to format the card. You can rename the card at the same time. The computer's format routine is stronger that the one in the camera. If problem still happens, consult distributor. May be fixable with a cable from camera to USB port, you download new software from distributor. Follow their instructions EXACTLY.

I have purchased a 8GB sdhc card for my Kodak cx7525 camera, but it will not let me format it. what do i do now...?

CX-series cameras accept SD and MMC Cards. A sdhc memory card will not work in your camera. Hopefully you can exchange it for an SD or MMC card.
Good luck with that!
