Question about Heating & Cooling
Hi, this is a good sign that your main control board has failed. If you are unable to shut if off without unplugging it, or nothing happens when you press the controls, its most surely the board. That is all it can be. I hate to tell you this, but this is you're problem. If you can in any way remove the front at all to get to the board to see if you can get any numbers from it, that would be good. to change out this board, it will have to be exposed any way. I don't know how new this unit is, but you can take the name, model, & serial numbers and make some calls to appliance parts houses to try and locate one. If the price of the board is very expensive, I would compare the price to a new unit. Consider age and overall condition. If you decide to have it looked at, it will save you many $$$$ to take it out and into a shop yourself. If they come out, they may pull it anyway, and do that. I used to. This is about all I can say to you, but that I am sorry to tell you. Please keep me posted on what you decide and the outcome on the unit. Please be kind when rating me on helping you by giving you some direction to go. This would be very kind of you. Like I said let me know as I will be around here.

Good Afternoon Jonathan, thanks for your post!
From the information you have provided the fan on your Frigidaire air conditioner turns off after a few seconds of being on. This could be an issue with your fan motor or control panel. I would suggest performing a reset on your air conditioner. You can do that by unplugging the power cord and pressing the rest button. You should then hear a click and press the test button then plug the air conditioner back in. If that does not correct your issue you may need to have a technician out to your home to perform a proper diagnosis and repair. I hope this information is helpful to you. -Matt
