If the player is an SA250, SA255, SA260 or SA261, then it is only compatible with Windows Media Player 10.

If you have Media Player 11, then uninstall it to roll back to version 10.

iTunes is not compatible with Eclipse mp3 player, you have to transfer the songs from iTunes to windows media player first, then sync your mp3 player with windows media player, the songs will be transferred to your player. And here is a guide about how to transfer music and video between iTunes and Windows media player.

Getting music from my computer to my mp3 player

MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format. You can download mp3 music files from the Internet toyour computer and then copy them to your MP3 player. For your CD collection, you need to convert your CDs tomp3 music files onto your computer or download them from the Internet and thencopy them to your MP3 player after you have connected the USB cable tothe MP3 player and the computer.
You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player willcreate a MP3 music file for each music track.Click on this link for instruction on converting musicfiles to mp3 file format :- http://www.fixya.com/support/r5798418-creating_transferring_mp3_music_files

I have a sansa fuze and it froze. I do not have a windows media player on my new computer to fix it. So I pluged it in to my sisters and it shut down. why won't it turn back on. By the way I already had...

Let's address the first problem. Based on your statement, I could see that the program or software of your MP3 player is already corrupted. Probably due to virus or for some other reasons.

The best thing that you could do is to send the player to the manufacturer and have them re-install the latest software or firmware to your player. It should work again. You need to trust the manufacturer, because they know what's best for your player.

Second, you may download the Windows Media Player 11 or 12 for your Windows 7 for FREE.

Check the links and it might help you:

File Format not supported

You have to be sure that the files are all mp3 files, or wma (windows media audio). Check the rip settings in Windows Media Player. If you rip CD's in a format other than mp3 or wma you will not be able to sync the files to your player. I would suggest sticking with mp3 - as mp3 files are compatible with any player, including ipods.

Mp3 not showing up on Windows Media player 11

Download the latest version of the Philips Deivce Manager from Philips website and use the Update option on the new version. This player requires a firmware upgrade to make it compatible with Windows Media Player 11, and the Update function in the Philips Device Manager will perform this for you.
