Hi.The reason for the EE code is generally caused when the cuff has been wrapped too loose around the arm. Essentially, your cuff was under-inflated during the measurement procedure. This error code will also display if the cuff is worn and needs to be replaced. The EE symbol with a down arrow indicates the cuff is over-inflated. In most cases the cuff has been wrapped too tight or you are using the incorrect cuff size. Try Turning the monitor off and pulling the batteries(if equipped); for five to ten minutes then reinsert the batteries and reset. Read the instructions to correctly apply the cuff. If the unit continues to show the EE code, you will need to purchase another cuff.

Cuff inflates way too much..registers EE error

See page 14, it can also be underinflated which is more likely. It depends whether the EEs are next to each other or on top of each other. The inflated cuff has to cut off the blood supply, and then it measures when the flow starts to come back.

It is a manual inflation model if you are in the right category.

An "E" Readin

E is cuff not applied correctly
EE is cuff not inflated properly

E
E
over each other is too much inflation if inflated manually

See page 25 of the manual.

You both need to sit down and read the instruction manual :>)

I have a walgreen blood pressure monitor that you have to inflate and i dont know when to stop inflating and sometimes i inflate too much and gives me an error what am i doing wrong i lost the manual...

if you have to inflate it manually, usually 190 to 200 is a place to start. If you can tell me who the manufacturer is and the model number, I may be able to furnish you an Owners Manual.

Hope this helped you. Please let me know.

I have a HD502 Walgreen Digital Blood Pressure Monitor and I cannot get a reading after inflation of the bulb. The monitor blinks and makes noises and then the Err1, Err4 or Err8 message appears.

Hi, I'm sorry I don't have a solution for you. I have the same monitor but I'm actually looking for the "t" plastic part that unite the hoses together and connects into the actual monitor. Not sure if you got it to fix it but if you still have ir, are interested in selling that little piece to me? I would be greatly appreciate it. Thanks

What does it mean when you get a reading then 3 consecutive readings say EE

What is the pattern of the EE? If the two E's are on the same line, then you didn't inflate the cuff to a sufficient pressure. (Wait 2-3 minutes before trying again and then inflate the cuff to 40 mmHg higher than the previous attempt.)

If the Es are arranged vertically, then you overinflated the cuff. Any [ressure above 300 mmHg is beyond the range that this bp monitor can handle. If you reached this point by getting several underinflation alerts, ask your medical professional to test your bp and recommend the starting inflation level that you need.

Make sure that you have the cuff on properly. You may need to consider a different bp pressure cuff size to get an accurate reading.

I hope this.

It keep giving me a ee reading every time i try to use it

Hi. One of the most common error symbol that appears on this display panel is a EE with a down arrow and two numerals. The reason for the EE Error Indicator is usually caused because the cuff has been wrapped too loose. The cuff was under-inflated during the measurement. This error will also display if the cuff is worn and needs to be replaced. The EE symbol with a down arrow indicates the cuff is over-inflated. In most instances the cuff has been wrapped too tight or you are using the incorrect cuff size. Turn the monitor off. Read the instructions to correctly apply the cuff. Wait five to ten minutes then take another measurement. This should correct the issue.

Hello; My Omron HEM 712C shows message: EE Can

'EE' means cuff is underinflating. Re wrap cuff with varying amounts of pressure and restart [wait 2 minutes between readings].

When the pressure comes up on the monitor the top number was reading EE. It did it three times. I can't find the instructions. The machine is an Omron model: 741CREL. Thanks.

EE=Cuff under-inflated=not inflated enough. While cuff is inflated, keep pressing START button until pressure reaches 15-20 mmHg higher than the pressure when it stops and displays EE. Make sure at least 5 min allowed between readings.
