Question about Nokia N95 Cellular Phone

Applications not being installed

My phone (N95-8GB) had stopped working and each time I switched it on it would say erase some phone memory, whereas actually i didnt have anything stored in the phone memory.
As a result ii gor my phone formatted. After that, it does not Install any applications. It does download them though, and when the installation process comes, it says "your phone data setting are incorrect." Please advise me how to correct this...I even tried to correct the problem by restoring factory settings, but with no success.

Hi I am using nokia c6. When i open any photo or browsing internet, it says 'memory full delete some application'. Whereas unuse phone memory is 120mb. Recent I updated firmware. Please help.

You need to move many of your applications to the memory card, also clear you internet cache, set at smaller size and store it on the memory card. This is common for most smartphone

Hi,

It seems most of you applications are stored in the Phone Memory and/or your application data is taking up lot of memory. You actually don't have to erase/uninstall applications. Please consider performing the following steps:

  1. Go to Settings --> Applications --> Manage Applications. In this Menu you'll be shown a list of applications. Use the Menu Button to "Sort by Size" and get a list of the applications sorted from high memory usage to low (phone memory). Once this is done, you'll be able to view the memory being used by each of the applications. Click on the applications which you see are consuming more memory and then use the "Clear Data" button to clean up the data being stored by the applications to free up memory. This clears up any cache, cookie, temp files associated with the applications. Depending on your android version, you may also see an additional button "Move to SD Card". The best option to get more space would be to use this button and move the application to the 4 GB SD Card storage.
  2. Optional Step if you do not have "Move to Phone/SD Card" option available - From the Android Market, download and install "App 2 SD Free". Once done, this application should help you free up a lot of space by moving applications from your phone memory to the SD card.
Hope this was helpful. If so, please consider rating this solution.

-thanks,
M

Switch-off your phone. 1. Press and hold 3 keys; Green dial key, * Star key, no. 3 key on keypad and then press the power on/off to swtich on the phone. Remember, do not let go the 3 press and hold keys until you see a formatting word screen show! 2. Why can't i open my message folder.it says message storage memory full, whereas its not..

Its because of the Ram being used highly by some application. Check whether there is any high end applications like games or something installed, if it is try uninstalling it and check again. Good Luck

The T-Mobile WING has to be rebooted to run another application

You might try searching forums.xda-developers.com
They have a Wing/Herald section and they have custom ROMs.
I am running Windows Mobile 6.1 using the OpenTouch v7.5 Pro. It's not great due to the lack of hardware that HTC built the phone with. My best solution for this problem is tough it out until the HTC Touch Pro II (will likely be called the T-Mobile Wing II) is released, which will have better hardware (but not by much); or get an iPhone. I will likely be switching when my T-Mobile contract expires in the fall.

Messages say resend all the time in d outbox

This is not a question of your phone's external it says for internal or workable memory of RAM. RAM is for providing room to running application. In your phone RAM is seems stuck and you have to empty it by formatting. For that backup your data and reset your phone by entering code string *#7370# and it will work again properly.

Problem is""phone star-up failed. contact the retailer"

The best solution for this problem is to format the phone memory. U may think format will erase all applications but it is false . The essential softwares like mp3 player, camera, etc. are not erased.
The process for format of phone is :
1) turn off the mobile.
2) press and hold ( green dial button + 3 keypad + * ) and turn on the phone holding these 3 buttons(dial button + 3 + *) until formatting screen appears.
3) When formatting screen appears, just leave the keys. and ur phone is formatted now.
4) When finished, it asks for restart of phone.
5) Restart ur phone, and ur phone is ready.
