hi there, call the customer service of your service provider ( AT&T,Vodafone,Verizon etc)....they will set up message center number on your phone , the one that you have might be incorrect...your mobile operator will send you sim updates that will refresh the settings ....and then you will get the text message options cheers

well, i would say that ur connection is broken or something like that, but i cant be sure. I would look up troubleshoot options on the motorola site, or access help at the store u purchased it at.
I think the problem here is with your connection. I understand that you have the right settings from your operator...however you should check with them to see if your line is data enabled for MMS (this is how your pictures are sent....in an MMS message).
i have had this problem previously. sometimes it would work if i sent a message to myself. other times, i would have to just wait a few minutes, and then try again. also, i have made a call, and only then would my messages be sent. personally, i think this phone is horrible.
I had the same problem with my new Blackjack 2, I could receive txts, but my friends would not receive the ones I sent. To fix it, I put a + in front of the number. and added the 1 before the area code. so their numbers looked like this +1(areacode)number. now they get them. Others had to do a hard reset of their Blackjacks, but it worked.
see if this helps, go to ''settings'', then ''connections'', then ''more'' and click on ''SMS service'' and change it to "GPRS Preferred'', and see if that works
