Removable disk contents are not visible

I found ur site is very useful.
Can you throw a light on the problem which I found in my Pen Drive.Pen drive shows 700 MB used memory space & 270 MB free.
But I am not able see or find out the contents in the Pendrive. Also I am able to copy in the pen drive but after copying if I do "Refresh" the data becomes invisible & unable to get located even using search.
How can I extract my data & why this problem is arriving?
Kindly provide the solution on mahanbharat@indiatimes.com

The Pen Drive site does not contain much support data. However, if this is a USB 2.0 Pen Drive, you can find download here for driver - if you are running Windows 98/SE, or have a 2GB drive. I can't tell from your post which product you have, but this page contains links to the other products as well.
http://www.pendrive.com/downloads/pendriveusb2.html

If none of these situations is relevant, please provide additional information for further assistance: specific drive model, whether this drive has functioned properly and just now started acting this way, and if there has been any other event (related or not) on your PC. For instance, has this product always had this problem or is it new? Also, it sounds like perhaps there might be some confusion in how to access and view the contents of various types of external media - if you need assistance, let me know.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

HI I HAVE TRANSCEND 4GB PEN DRIVE...I M TRYING TO OPEN MY PEN DRIVE OR TRYING TO FORMATTING BUT MY PEN DRIVE CONNECT 10SEC AND DISCONNECT....EVERY COMPUTER AND ANY LAPTOP I USE BUT SAME PROBLEM IS RUNNING...

Plug in the drive.
  • Right click on Computer, Properties
  • Select Manage
  • Select Disk Management
  • After the drive "disappears" if it is no longer visible in disk managment, I'd say it is a bad drive. If it shows as offline, try deleting any partitions on it and formatting it in disk managment.

I have photos files etc in my pen drive of Kingston DT 101 G2, what do i have to do to run ur Drive to see my files and photos ? can some one help me? thanks, Janaka

Insert the pen drive into USB port, then open My Computer. You will see some drives. Hard disk drives, CD Room drives, and removable media drives. Example: Your hard disk (drive C, D, E), CD Room (drive F), Removable media (drive G). So, each time you insert a tool such as pen drives, memory cards, etc, you can see it on drive G.

To view the data pen drive, double click My Computer, click the drive G. If you want to move files from pen drive to your hard disk, open the drive G, block all files, copy and paste to drive C / D / E.

hopefully help

4 gb pen drive give write protected error

Save the contents in the pen drive (this process will delete all the files in ur pen drive) and then download this http://www.apacer.com/en/support/downloads/Repair_v2.9.1.8A.zip,unzip it n run.....click "Format". Make sure u have connected only the pen drive u wanna recover to computer, this tool is very blind n it doesnt allow u to choose which removable drive to format..it formats the first removable disk (seems so).
