Ya previously when your system was have that funny scandal, smss.exe, and autorun.inf virus it was effected to your mobile also ....
as i told previously those virus will be infected which ever memory device you connect to pc ...

so i think after removing threats some file which was needed for that operation is deleted ...
just check your whole pc for virus again it might have got infected by those files again ...
if not then right click on that drive and then give explore ..
i think there is a file named autorun.inf in that delete it ..
after restarting your system it will work ....

Hi i have a samsung jey s8000 contract phone however i am unsure how to switch on my voicemail?

hi, if you can't use your voice mail, maybe you can use your answering machine in your jet itself... just configure your answering machine to simply answer all your phone calls, if you are busy.. it will record all callers messages...
it is actually the alternative for your voice mail..
to switch on your voice mail, if you prefer to use the network service. you may try the following steps.. 1. press settings.. 2. on your settings, select applications 3. on your applications, select all calls 4. on your all call settings, select your voice mail and input your voice mail service number.. 5. once finished, select save, and exit your settings menu.. 6. to check if it's working.. use another phone to call your number, but be reminded that if your built in answering machine is on, turn if off..
good luck..

When i connect my n82 nokia set to my pc it gives me message that some harmfull software are installed in your phone. i want to get rid of that harmfull software.

In order to help you out better I would like to know the operating system on your pc. Ayways windows defender treats autexe on your mobile as a harmful software. Whereas it's not harmful and you won't be able to connect your mobile to your pc without it. If the warning is blocking your device to get connected to your pc then you shall disable that antivirus or defender on your pc.

Phone keeps reseting itself

firmware(Operating system) is damaged . you need to reinstall it .
This could occur due to many reasons like virus attack ,sudden removal of the battery while the phone is on,sudden switch off the cell due to low battery etc ..

if you firmware backup you can reinstall it with your normal datacable by using the PC suite or you can contact the technician

The firmware is damaged, in all the china model handset that is the problem the firmware gets damaged if you do anything extra so you need take the phone to the technician and get it flashed no other way for the china handsets to install the firmware for ourself without having the DKU series reset cable.
