The Lenovo G450 is quite compatible for Windows 7, there could be following reasons:-
1. The CD/DVD Drive may not catch the CD/DVD becuase of lens may gone dusty, clean the lens. 2. DVD/CD may be damaged due to scratches, try another CD/DVD 3. Check the Boot options from BIOS, it must be CD/DVD on first boot

You have not installed microsoft UAA bus driver, without this conexant can't be installed.
This is not available on Lenovo official site, however you can download this
from hp site.

This works on many notebooks including Lenovo G450.
First, install this driver, if any error is shown then ignore it, then install
conexant audio driver and restart.
