Question about Bosch Axxis WFL 2060 Front Load Washer

1 Answer

Bosch Axxis + washing machine. Dispenses detergent, adds water then the screen flashes these words "Auto Laundry Adjustment" then disappears and indicates it is "washing" -but absolutely nothing is happening. Shortly after - approx the time it takes to complete a normal wash/rinse cycle - the alarm goes off indicating laundry cycle has completed and to "Remove Laundry". You are able to open the door and it's just a pile of partially wet laundry. So I remove the wet laundry - set it to drain - press start and it drains. Does not wash or spin.

Hi, check the carbon brushes in the motor or the belt. If its not these then it may be a timer fault see if you have power to the motor and concerning the spin cycle, you should find the filter located behind a removable plastic panel at the bottom front of washer. Unscrew it anti clockwise to remove and clean it out.

Take care

How do you check the carbon brushes? My husband is now asleep and we desperately need to complete laundry before morning! I really appreciate your help.

    Thank you.

I removed a key and fuzz from the filter. Washer seems to go through all cycles but just doesn't wash (just sits silently) - then water comes in to rinse - comes to spin cycle and doesn't spin - then alarm goes approx 3 minutes later indicating wash is done.

Just a pile of partially wet clothes.

Has a new motor, add detergent, close door. Indicator says laundr

Hello, welcome to Fixya.

Based on your description I'd suspect something is in the pump or you're either...

a) using too much detergent, even too much "HE" will cause problems with the rinse & spin cycles.

b) the wrong type of detergent

These machines must have "HE" type detergent's added to them only. Non -"HE" will not allow them to spin to there potential, cause damage and sometimes not spin at all.

Here's how to check the pump...
If your washer is indeed a WFL2060, this is how to reach the filter and clean it.
( If it is not a WFL2060 as the post indicates, please let me know and I can provide assistance on another model as it pertains to you ).

**Unplug the washer from the dryer or wall, or turn off the 30amp breaker at the home service panel...safety first**

1) Open the small square plastic door at the right bottom of the washer.

2) Via the small hose drain any access water from the pump...this is where a wet/dry shop-vac comes in handy, or a shallow pan with a few towels works as well.

3) Then turn the pump insert/button trap counter clock-wise and pull out. Clean the trap out thoroughly running it under hot water and mild soap or your washer detergent and inspect inside the pump for any other foreign objects/obstructions.

4) Re-install the lint trap insuring it is good and snug/tight. Before closing up the small access door, run a short rinse spin cycle to check for leaks.

Let me know how you make out, or if you require further assistance.

Thank you for visiting "fixya", please take a moment to rate the info provided for you here.

Good luck.

Grey spots on our white clothes after wash

do you use affresh to clean your front loader? deposits of soap and other such things can be stuck around the inside tub of your washer. try this porduct out it works great on all front loaders use hot water with the affresh pellet with no clothes and run the machine through a cycle this also helps with any stagnant water smells also have you cleaned out your pump lately. * note remeber to put the pellet on the inside of the machine not in the soap dispenser

Bosch Axxis WFL2060 stopped working on a wash cycle. The first time I used liquid HE detergent. I am sure I put too much in and the interior foamed up, the detergent tray foamed up and came out underneath...

water in base after overfoaming has leak detection if you can tip machine back this water will run onto floor allowing unit to rest, make sure you put down some rags towel etc to trap water there will be up to a pint of water.

Maytag a112 manual on how to add bleach AND fabric softener

Hi
Choosing Your Detergent, Bleach, and Fabric Softener..
Learn what the different items you need to wash your laundry.
Liquid Laundry Detergent and Fabric Softeners
When using liquid laundry detergent, you do not want to poor it directly on your laundry. The dyes in the liquid laundry soap could stain your clothing. You will want to start your washing machine and add the liquid laundry soap while the water is filling the washing machine.
You then can add your laundry once you have about and eighth of the washing machine tub filled. This will ensure your laundry doesn't become stained by the detergent. You should only add the amount that is poured into the cup to the fill line. When you add more, you could find yourself wading through mounds of bubbles overflowing from your washing machine.
The same reasoning applies to liquid fabric softeners. However, liquid fabric softeners are added to the washing cycle after the initial washing cycle is finished. You will want to add the fabric softener once the washing machine has filled with water and started to agitate. This keeps the fabric softener from touching the laundry and will work it into your clothing better.
Powdered Laundry Detergent
You will want to add one cup of loose laundry detergent to your washing machine in the same manner you would do the liquid laundry detergent. By doing this, the powdered laundry detergent will dissolve easier.
Bleach
When adding bleach to your laundry, there is a small triangular cup in the corner of your washing machine. By adding one cup of bleach into that dispenser, the bleach will be added to the laundry at a precise time during the wash cycle.
Setting Your Washing Machine
Most washing machines have three or four cycles. For instance, the Maytag Washer I have has four cycles, regular, permanent press, delicate, and soak.
Regular Washing Cycle
The regular cycle is used for the following types of clothes and other apparel:
• Jeans
• Towels
• Blankets
• Sheets
• Quilts
• Bedspreads
The soil types for this cycle are heavy, normal, and light. This means clothes or other articles that are lightly too heavily soiled should be washed in this cycle. This is due to the washing cycles can be set from a minimum of eight to fourteen minutes maximum. You can use all three of the water temperatures in this cycle.
1Permanent Press Washing Cycle
The permanent press washing cycle is used on the clothes that may or may not need to be ironed.
Such as:
• Blouses
• Shirts
• T-shirts
• Under garments. This would be your unmentionables and socks.
• Jackets
• Sheets
• Baby Clothing
The soil types for this wash cycle are normal and light. The washing times for the permanent press cycle are six minutes to ten minutes. You can use all three washing temperature modes for this cycle as well.
Delicate Washing Cycle
The delicate washing cycle is normally used for sweaters, cotton, silks, and other fabrics that need to be washed with care.
The soil types for the delicate cycle are normal and light. The washing times for the delicate cycle are four and six minutes. It is best to wash your delicate clothes in warm or cold water. Always wash clothing that is more than forty percent cotton in cold water to prevent shrinking.
Soak Washing Cycle
The soak cycle would be used for heavily soiled clothing, such as, football and baseball uniforms. This will help rid the uniforms of caked on mud and grass stains.
You can also use this cycle if you wish to only bleach your white's once a week or once a month with bleach.
Washing Your Laundry
Choose the cycle you need for your laundry. Add the laundry detergent, fabric softener, and bleach (remember regular liquid bleach is for white clothes only.) Start the washing machine and let fill to dissolve the dry detergent or to mix in the liquid detergent.
Now add your clothes to the washing machine. Clothes the lid so the washing machine will continue to wash your clothes.
If you are using a Laundromat, put your clothes in the washing area and shut the lid or door. Add your detergent and other cleaning items in the correct compartments. Put in the correct amount of change so the washer will start.

Bosch axxis washing machine detergent symbols

There are usually 3 compartments in the drawer, the smallest is for using fabric conditioner, the largest is where you put the powder or detergent in, the middle size one you do not put anything in, as it is where the cold water comes in for rinsing.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.

Laundry detergent

Why do you want to use a special detergent??? Tide works fine! You just need to use about 1/4-1/2 what is used in the American machines. Now if you really want some exceptional laundry detergent like we use in Europe, buy Persil (google it).
