I installed the latest Flash player and then installed Channel 4`s 4On Demand television service to watch their archive of programmes.
But the 4oD player clashes with the Flash player - giving me a 1904 error message.
They tried to help (see image) but nothing has worked.
Can you help?

1. Download and Run the file from the link below:
http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/uninstall_flash_player.exe then follow the instructions, including any User Account Control prompts which appear
2. Download and Run the file from the link below:
http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/licensing/win/install_flash_player_active_x.msi
then follow the instructions, including any User Account Control prompts which appear
3. Open your Start Menu.
4. Under “Start Search”, type cmd.
5. cmd.exe should appear in the results box.
6. Right-click on cmd.exe and select “Run as Administrator”.
7. Follow any User Account Control prompts which appear.
8. In the cmd window, type in:
regsvr32 c:windowssystem32macromed lash lash9e.ocx
9. Press Enter
You will then receive a configuration message.
(If you get an error code 0x80070005 then you need to ensure that you used ‘Run as Administrator’ to launch the cmd window)."
**When I tried this the flash9e.ocx file could not be found. Sure enough, when I dug into the system files it wasn`t there. I`ve tried reinstalling Flash but still no 9e.ocx file. There is a file flash9f.ocx

I am using vista premium and whe i play a game that requires flash, even though i have flash 9 installed it still shows that flsh.ocx is missing , help!!
same 4od is B$ it worked perfectly and then all of a sudden boom its fucked
same problem, it loads the adverts fine but no actual programme
Same problem here. Had it a week ago, re-installed flash on my laptop and that made it work but a week on and both laptop and pc won't work
