Question about Brother HL-2040 Laser Printer
Posted by Anonymous on
Please use a good source of light focussed on to the mouth of the feed, check for damamged paper bits that is stuck on to the sides. carefully pull them out to free the feed. Also check for any dirt on the feed, you can use a good cleaner mildly soaked to wash off the dirt on the rubber rollers. open up the printer section to remove any such dirt fromthe paper tracks. Further if this wont have solved the issue, you will have to look at the drive while the paper is loaded. check fromthe motor drive, the gear drive for any dirt or alignment issues. if so get it trimmed a bit to allow the motor to run smoothly. use some nylon grease if required. Hope this help out.Good day
