Question about Dell OptiPlex GX260 PC Desktop

When you switch on the pc(dell optiplex gx 260),

When you switch on the pc(dell optiplex gx 260) tries to start and goes off immediately with a chiw!! sound and starts over again continueos. Sometimes it starts alright after a few minutes it goes off and the cycle begins again.

Pop the case and make sure the video card, RAM, and CPU is all seated correctly in their slots, and then make sure all fuses you can see inside/outside the case are in good shape (if applicable)

The HDD could be faulty, The power supply could be bad, the mobo could be going to be bad. Mostly probably could be that the hard drive thinks there is a device change.

If this is happening on all workstations you should look at your network settings and verify that your DNS settings are correct.  Also look in the error logs on the server to see if it is fillingup with system or application errors.
